Hello, I hope that you have find this cd : listen to a very nice title on this cd called winds of change ( the others titles are also nice) it's my point of view !!!! Louis
I think that you can find this cd " essence of rythm " on specialsed web point like Amazon or Price Minister. If not you can contact a specialised jazz shop in Paris called Paris Jazz Corner. He is the most interestin guitarist I have heard since Pat Metheny, 30 years ago !!! Contact me if you cannot buy this wonderful CD . Louis from France (corsica)
How weird my father recommend this to me and I in fact like it! In addition I would also point you another guitar player often underestimated - Ernest Ranglin check the album "Bellow the Bassline" and continue the smile..
Totally agree with you ! ernest ranglin is one of my best ever, specially below the bassline, ans in search of the lost riddim, wonderfull and very exotic sounds too !
Hello, I also love this great african guitarist, and especially this song from his album " essence of rythm " also his cd "afrocentric" and echoes from the past" I am also guitarist and plays during winter and spring in Cannes and summer in Corsica. Bye
Im gonna go all through my life with song...beautiful track, and I dont normally listen to jazz....Im gonna look for more tracks from 2:52 he just blows me away!!!!!
No jimmy is probably the best in Africa we should bring our musicians up,we can't make comparisons they are unique all of them.this song reminds of sunday afternoon in jhb listening to the radioMAYIBUUYE IAFIRKA

George Benson de l'Afrique. Very smooth indeed. You should listen to "Malala" and "Motherland" from the "Echos from the past" album.

Jimmy Dludlu is in the class of Earl Klugh and George Benson. A great guitarist.
