  • I am an expert in counter terrorism and urban combat, I have read all the relevant materials on wikipedia and have logged countless hours online and have shot all the famous modern weaponry in call of duty, come at me bro.

  • Que voz é essa narrador?

  • This soldier today is a Globo TV journalist!!

  • Hey, come back to 99 year with me.. 99".. not had €!* the Pope was another.. not had China! not had Google!* not had Youtube! not had iphones, ipads and "iVerythings".. HAD two WTC towers at NY! not had American "subprimers"! USA hadn't poor people! USA had the Power of world! USA not had debt! Europe was very rich! Fidel smokes your cohiba cigar at peace! Kadafi, Sadam and Bin Laden, sleeps at golden beds HOW MANY THINGS CHANGED?! ...we come back to the present, "Marti"?
  • The new Elite Squad: The Enemy Within movie comes out in the US this fall/winter.

  • assistam o doc completo no link: /watch?v=Uzi-1tfrpxo mto obrigado!

watch the full video here on the link: /watch?v=Uzi-1tfrpxo thanks!

  • bope rules !!!!!!!!!

  • very old documentary!!!

  • @marceloweckerle No, it's not that old. It's a 1999 documentary called "Notícias de uma guerra particular" by João Moreira Sales.

  • someone please tell me the name of the song!! :D

  • @1990mithrandir 2:59 - 3:54 Rap Da Armas by Cidinho e Doca. The song is also available in the movie Tropa de Elite (Elite Squad)

  • @cheelikng thanks!!

  • esse e o cara , capitao pimentel , 100% brasileiro , honesto , exemplo de policia !! nasceu pra isso , os policias tem que se espelhar nele como conduta

  • You can't compare forces of war in different places. Like the top rated guy said. The important thing is that they both should fight with great effort to a greater good, even if this mean having to use violence.

It's like when you learn martial arts. It's not about being the best, either about the fighting. It's about the art of effort and defensive war.

  • @mrfelipeist nah, you got it wrong. it's about being the best you can be.

  • @Valholm Which is different from "the best of your friends", which is exactly what I meant.

  • Thats why I hate drugs and crimes, when I became a police , I'll promise my priority is protect the innocent against crime and drugs!!!

  • @delarosa102

you have to understand that taking drugs is older than civilization itself, it's like prostitution, you can't prevent it, you can only control it, nothing more. it's like the laws that used to forbid drinking, look at the crime organizations that were born and raised by such prohibition. Consumming alcohol is an ageless habit, and so are many other drugs, if you fight it, you already lost, that's not a criticism, just being a realist.

  • very old

  • ISSO É MUITO VELHO... It´s too old!!

  • What a waste of perfectly good drugs...........

  • querem a realidade do trafico de drogas no rio de janeiro?

assitam o documentario "dancing with the devil"

    acha aqui mesmo no youtube.

  • @flamepeace exatamente, eu tenho no meu canal...

  • "News from a private war" in Portuguese Is of Documentary --> Noticias de Uma Guerra Particular!

  • Although it features BOPE this documentary was on the City of God Films DVD Extras called "News from a private war".

BTW- both City of God and Elite Squad (aka Troope De Elite) are excellent movies and should be a part of your DVDcollection- I have both and they're just beautifully made, scripted and acted films.

Far superior to anything the USA has churned out in the past 10 years.

  • First of all the market for drugs in the u.s is the biggest in the world. We have more addicts and dealers. Only reason Brasil is the way it is because of corruption and bad policing. If not for u.s law inforcement we would be worse. All dearlers in the world are the same, they adapt to their enviroment to survive like a game.

  • this is true guys

  • i fuckin hate police anyway,i wish to kill all of then!!!!!!!!lolol.

  • First of all: I have some deep admiration for SEALS and SAS!

FACT: most of SEALS and other American SF operators end their duty life without firing a single bullet on a living being.

FACT: at the end of the gruelling CAT/COESP course (BOPE´s two main formation courses), the BOPE recruits have a "baptism of fire" in a real operation in a real "favela".

CONCLUSION: rookie BOPE operators have more real action in 2 months of service than the most part of SEALs/ SAS in their entire life.

  • @Akao47

Fact, they're not nearly as versatile, capable, useful and practical. BOPE is extremely specialized. While they thrive in one environment they'd fail in almost any other. SEALS are absolute machines capable of a vast array of accomplishments.

  • brasil ta mal mermo ¬¬ culpa do governo, akeles arrombado q n manda policia pro morro!

  • lol, those who compare BOPE to SWAT, SWAT shoots to hand/leg, BOPE shoots to the head. It can be bad or good depending on what you need, what's your situation... SWAT in Rio would fail, BOPE in USA too

  • @lukinhasbu swat in rio would fail, bope in usa would win BUT would get in big trouble with human rights.

  • @lukinhasbu I know its a YEAR OLD comment but. NO PROFESSIONAL will shoot at legs or hands WHY? Because there is very high probability of missing the target and if shooting is needed then its shoot to kill not wounding and making the enemy mad. EVERY force from normal police officers to special forces are trained to shoot the center of mass. Stop watching movies they are not a good indication of reality.

  • we have lots of swat and bope experts here. call of duty and wikipedia, lol

  • I didnt know they like to burn people alive and gather round watching the poor fuckers burn till i looked favela up on the tinternet, what makes it worse is some sick fuckers film it like its a family day out.

  • Yeah, and that's JUST like being there for real..

I hope you understand that I'm being sarcastic here..

Seriously.. Grow up. MW2 is a game.

  • wise words... little fuckers comparing a real life situation to a video game really annoy me.

  • I know! I'm an airsofter and just because I have realistic weapons and gear doesn't make me a real soldier, right? It's just the same thing.

Never been to Rio but I think that the favelas are sometimes more fucked up than in a computer game.

  • exactly. its just stupid to hear people like that guy say they understand what the suffering of those people just because they played a game. i play alot of games too but i know its not the same and it shouldnt be compared. but yeah. btw i would want to play airsoft but its illegal in holland :P

  • kids that`s an old video made in 1997, Brazil change a lot in 13 years!!!! Some interviews were made 17 years ago like the chief police!!!

  • Bope hasn´t training against terrorists, they´re special trained agains militia warfare!

  • BOPE is no joke. They go through urban warfare on a daily basis. It's like Iraq, 24/7

  • this is a city. not a warzone friend...

  • i have lived in Rio for quite a long time...it is a beautiful city.. one of the most beautiful city id say.. but it is dangerous as well.. BOPE rock..i mean, they really do rock... SWAT and BOPE cannot be compared.. BOPE have to tackle a lot of shit.. those drug dealers r a crazy bunch..n i can say for sure bcoz i used to know a couple..

  • @amigoz2k9 yep bope with navy seals is a better comparison, not SWAT.

  • film 1997

  • Moreover, it is necessary to emphasize that the functions performed by BOPE are infinitely more áduas. The existing violence is unfortunately very largest of which we see in Iraq. That is irrefutable. Easily, we can look what I mentioned. It is only ask for the Brazilian Police.

  • SWAT is better equipped and some of them are ex special forces so they are better trained..

    but..

They don't see the type of every day action as BOPE in Brazil does. While I'm not from Brazil, I have seen enough to know part of Rio is way more dangerous than any ghetto in the US.. like some of the posters have said, they are better equipped and more ruthless than any gangs in the US.

  • I guess its relative tho isnt it...you'd want the BOPE for close combat like this over a SWAT team. Familiarity more than anything!

  • Eu fico espantado como a comunidade da favela acredita que os traficantes estão do lado dela. Os traficantes fizeram bem o seu trabalho!

  • bope is way, waaaay better than swat, sorry

  • ya why dont these mothere fuckers come to america so we could teach them a leasson im sure swat would wipe there ass

  • lol, american SWAT.. typical yank, be quiet now. how many missions a week to SWAT go on that involves them getting fired at by high calibre rifles and machine guns.. these guys do it on a daily basis.

  • I lived in the US for over 10 years. I find hard to believe that the gangs in LA have the same weaponry as the drug lords in the slums of Rio. I doubt that it is a common thing for US gangs to have heavy machine guns (MG47-type) as part of their armament.

  • ummm.. you have a point but they are armed with pistoles and desert eagles with is a one shot kill.... gangs in the usa use fast guns they use shot guns witch is better then a machine gun because a shot gun can make a huge hole so yea its rare on the usa to see some one with a havy machine gun! but really like rio de janeiro is really fucked up....

  • @MulekeDoido6669 they do have, but they dont face the police as in Rio.

  • @MulekeDoido6669 pois vc tá errado, eles tem armamento pesado tbm.

  • Dumb imigrant(immigrant?) No mate, I'm not from your country, I've never lived there and never would. If you're going to call me dumb, you should learn to spell first. And yes, I know what SWAT is, and I know they are just an average police special forces unit, they have them all around the world.. BOPE however, are not like them - this is basically a military unit. They would go head to head with your Navy Seals - now that is a comparison worth making.

  • @playaahh69 slums of brazil have more weapons, better weapons Etc

  • @playaahh69 you are a yankee. pipe down ya fuckin mutt

  • shut up.. dont need to be jelous faggot

  • @playaahh69 jealous of what you overweight, mullet having, sibling fucker?

  • @playaahh69 immigrant is not an insult , ignorant is , IGNORANT american !!!!

  • @playaahh69 first thing, you might be a yank but you are highly disrespectful and uneducated, the rio gangsters arent like US pussies who think that are bad asses because of having a 9mm gun and saying ma nigga this or that and having fag finger postures... no in rio they kill you with and believe me no shitty gangster style clothing with MA SHOES, MA HOMIES MA GUNS.... no its fucking hardcore all day long so DONT CALL PEOPLE DUM IMIGRANT when you probably havent red a book in your life

  • @playaahh69

English, motherfucker. Do you speak it? Seriously, you can't spell worth shit and you call yourself American?

  • im bad at typing ass hole and i dont need to learn how to spell fagot

  • Is that all you've got to say? So I guess you can't argue... Bope shit all over your swat. Be quiet now septic tank.

  • os gringo ta curiosos com a gente eim kkkkk

  • q merda (shit ) é essa ?

  • E um documentario.

  • @GUILHERMEGPS20 √ The global cynical civil system are teaching and killing in mass the Brazilians slaves....

  • @GUILHERMEGPS20 que merda é essa no interior do seu crânio ? Um projeto de cérebro. (não é celebro como vc pensa ,seu ignorante de merda !)

  • Not all the drugs they confiscate are incinerated because the cops have to make there cut in pay to support there family's.I was in Iraq I saw it all the time, the very same guys that where spos to help my squad out where high on Tar and Heroin all the time.

  • Sad how, what on the surface seems an innocent way to make a good deal, capitalism enslaves humanity.

  • On the other hand, many socialist armed forces support drug trafficking. And say what you want, I never saw ONE of those socialist students that didn't AT LEAST smoke pot. Who's to say which system works better, huh?

  • omg are you serious?

that means if the dont incinerate the drugs they sell it to make their cuts and that means that the drugs are out again

  • This a documentary, not a movie at all. It has nothing to do with "Elite Squad", just the fact that it's about BOPE operations.

  • it has to do with it alot..., if you buy the film elite squad ( tropa de elite ) you will get this with it, it shows the reality or rio de janeiro's drug's war

  • BOPE is an Elite Squad

  • this is not elite squade this is city of god special feuture

  • No. its from the City Of God DVD (uk relese) subtitles are as standard.

  • -.- que tropa de elite 2.

    Isso é documentario.

    Seu Burro!

  • TROPA DE ELITE 2! É O NOVO, AE!

  • Oh... I thought you were referring to the subtitle within this video, not the documentary's title. Thanks for the tip. I'll probably change the title (or incorporate "News From a Personal War" as key words).

  • great. in fact my intention was to upload an english subtitled version, but i checked your translation and it is better than the one i have (the original one i guess).

  • Thanks for the compliment... it seems that there has been a major decline in the number of hits to the documentary since I changed the title... I'll monitor the situation a few more days and decide if I'll change the title back.

  • i see... probably the other title gets more hits because of the movie, so i think you are right about resetting it.

  • Great documentary, thanks, but you should also use the original title, Noticias de Uma Guerra Particular (News From a Personal War). I was looking for this one with english subs and just saw your upload by accident.

  • I'm glad you liked it. I think that the literal translation of "particular" is, actually, "particular." In the video I attempted to produce a conceptual translation.

  • the movie's imdb page uses "personal", that was my reference. i understand your conceptual translation but that will prevent some people to find your upload, and i think you are the only one who provided english subtitles for this one.
