It was his first round ever on the Nürburgring so it's totally normal, that he's not driving fast. Or should he drive at the car's limit and crash it, because he doesn't know the track? Yeah, would be really clever.. not... idiot.
@hulkiejansen first of all, it's "bought a car" and "with four wheel drive". Second of all, there are other people on the track, if the staff sees you're driving recklessly your lap is over then and there. Third: it takes a good 40 - 50 laps on that track to really know where you're going. It's 14 EUR for one lap, 50 for 5, so that's 500 EUR before you can really start pumping in laps.
People that floor the throttlepedal the moment they get on the track, those are the real "monkeys".
