Introvert describes a shy character. They have an introvert nature or personality. We can also say withdrawn or reclusive. We often use 'introvert' in a negative way. Of course this is not always the case, just as an extrovert person can be annoying or too lively. A persons perspective or view of a word depends on their own attitude at that moment. Perhaps I should make a psychology lesson ;-))
