The best gun safe ever made is proper training. My kids, at 7 years old, have fired a .22LR, a pistol grip 12 GA, Sigma .40, 20GA and a choked 12 GA. They can tell you everything you need too know about the weapon and the safety for that weapon.

Obviously this is fake, if your still in doubt, besides being a completely different noise from that pistol's caliber, you see no round coming in or out of the chamber, a shot indoors does not echo (and the camera's mic would peak anyways), the recoil is not nearly as dramatic as this kid is making it seem, and he sure as fuck wouldn't be laughing. Still, this is a reminder of training anyone in posession of a firearm proper and safe handling.
