Best part of this game is playing through in PAJAMAS!!!!!!!!!!!! actually, thats tied with many other moments. I love all zelda games I've played. Really the only zelda that sorta sucked was 4 swords adventures for GCN. In order to play with friends you need stupid gba connector. also, zelda 2 is really hard -_- can't even make it to second temple without losing all my lives... But anyway, great find man!

For those wondering why you can walk on this terrain if it wasn't intended for you to, it's more than likely because the ground was made as one solid piece of geometry by the modeler and so by applying collision to that piece of geometry (which makes it solid) that would make the path as well as all outside areas solid. Just because there is a collision map applied to the geometry doesn't mean it was intended to be walked on, but I see how cool that would have been regardless.

its actually pretty cool if you like doing stuff that involves leaving an enemy barely alive.

parts of areas work and dont work because the binary code needed to make an entire area green or blue or red is the same on everything makein it solid even though its not meant to be touched. look at halo and bioshock for example you can go anywhwre outside the map and it lets you

It would have been simply amazing to have been able to explore hyrule like it was in OOT and maybe even revisit old dungeons. He might have been using one since his magic didn't go down, but you can do this without one. And you can do it in more than just that spot. Your not actually standing on the fixture itself.

Your standing on top of the little circle thing your hookshot attaches to. It's up so high that you can fly over the invisible wall barrier that they put up next to the stone wall along the road with your deku leaf. At least we can get to a little bit of hyrule field on this game.

I agree with Bguy, you could travel all over Hyrule, with similar places like Kakariko, Gerudo Desert, Zora's domain, Kokiri Forest, Death Mountain, hell, even Lon Lon Ranch if they wanted to. @Kraymel Its not unlikely. if you open up the debug mode of the game, you'll find there were many areas of the game you can't technically reach, but you can see, and were actualyl originally to be used for something.

@Kraymel yeah, no, actually, my guess would be that the entire field, including the road, was one model. and they had to make the road walkable, so the field got walkable. hence the rocks and what not on the field is not solid.

what they apply to models to make them solid, is called a mesh collider, essentially making the entire model solid, and chopping it up into one model for the road, and one for the field would make no sense.

I've seen many strange references to the Hyrule in WW, just by some of the characters you meet. Ex. The merchant gorons who have huge hats on that conceal their faces. They, much like the Zoras, died along with hyrule. Yet there are three who live on among the ocean ...O_O And if you look at a painting in the castle, you will recognize one short man with glasses to be Potho, from Minish Cap.

I don't know if you already have an answer for it or no, but I'm pretty sure they put some physical terrain just in case one guy decides to screw with the game: if the terrain wasn't there, there would an infinite black-screen: you can't get out without resetting.
