How come Wake Me up by Wham still on 1985 hit song? I think the song was a hit in 1984 and Madonna was the no.1 song of 1985 year ending. Her like a Virgin song enter into 1985 hit list cause it spent 6 weeks on no.1 from Dec. of 1984 up to Jan. of 1985 right? And Chaka Khan? 1984 is this song I know.

Billboard Magazine publishes all the year end charts on the 1st week of December issue every year. FYI, Wake Me up b4 u gogo still hit #1 on 1st December 1984, Out of Touch was at #2 & i feel for u was at #3 the same week.
