Doesn't the Sega logo at the start of the game look exactly like the one in Strider and Streets of Rage?

One of my favourite ever Mega Drive games. The bit near the end where you walk out onto a window ledge with a beautiful sunset in the background and it appears that there's no way over was one of the most jaw dropping things I'd seen when I was a kid. I couldn't work out what was going on so after ages of thinking I decided just to jump...

I don't want to ruin it! It's actually a really great game. When I try to describe it to mates who just dismiss it as a Disney platformer I say it's a bit like Castle Of Illusion (a Disney platformer that doesn't seem to bother people) with a bit of Zelda like item collection. The later levels are really something. Nice and tough, something too many games today forget to be.

Isn't one of the later levels very...Indiana Jones like with some Egyptian templeand a rolling rock?

Well the Egypt level where the wee bloke stops you because you don't have a key is it. You go in there and it's a Raiders like temple. Can't recall the bolder though. Need to play through it again to be honest! Later on you go to Antartica and discover a Viking ghost ship and all sorts of stuff!

Hmm, big enough intro? :P It does look very nice graphically; with this and Illusion they must have a knack for pretty backdrops. Shame the gameplay's a bit back-and-forth, but the angry running was funny though. :P

I don't recall the title, but I have a Mickey Mouse game for the NES (by Capcom I believe) that's hard as hell!!! There's nothing Mickey Mouse about some Disney games. They can be quite a challenge.

Yep part of a PAL release late in the Megadrive/Genesis life. Well worth picking up.
