the things that were missing in this video are auscultation, femoral pulses, radial pulses, ortolani/barlow manouevre, simple palmar creases, (two testes) and if 6 weeks old pull the hands and the baby should show head control.

FYI: We no longer use rectal thermometers in newborns. Evidence based practice.

Yes, this video was made specifically for training for an external exam by low level health providers and therefore does not include auscultation.

@jrgutma Just wondered who else would be doing this type of exam if not a nurse or nursing student? (the CNAs/techs?) Good video, very helpful
