Some great points...You see many more viewpoints on YT than you would be exposed to sitting in front of the TV. Some are good, some are ignorant, but they all make you think not just sit and absorb. Plus my typing has improved! An unintended windfall.

Well it would actually, YouTube can be used as a Social Networking Site, like MySpace and Facebook users can choose their level of exsposure and participation.

I agree, sometimes it pays to stay under the radar; however I also believe these sites are better for young minds than TV, CRK

see, I think Youtube's better because you can be 100 percent private, useful and it's entertaining. i can get legit study material here while listening to my fav tunes at the same time. not fb

FB is set up to be a networking site for college students and it hasnt' changed it's format when it marketed itself to adults. Hello drama? Funnier yet, none of my college friends are on there, it's just the highschool. So as it stands, it's just an online profile.

Yes, I too prefer YouTube for a number of reasons. However, if given the choice between Facebook and NBC, or MySpace and CBS, I side w/ the Sites everytime. But again, YT rules'em all;) CRK
