Honestly, I'm trying to lose weight. (says this as she's eating fast food) And watching this show makes me feel less fat. If I ever got as big as these girls, I don't think I'd be mentally stable. But that's me.
@CrimsonOkami Seriously, this would be like beyond rock-bottom for me. I also hate how this show touts itself as being encouraging to obese women yet all they do is piss and whine about how HAAARD it is to be fat. That's not confidence. Living their lives like normal and not CONSTANTLY complaining about something they could change if they tried would be confident. Also: Not all boys like chubby girls, Leslie. And they have a freaking right not to. Jesus Christ, you entitled twit!
i cant believe what im reading in the comments bellow.. you guys have seriously been brain washed by the media! not all plus size please are like this on purpose and the right to be proud of themselves too!! my best friend is their size but for the life of her she cant lose any weight, its just how shes built. my god!! grow up and snap back to reality..granted some DO do it on purpose, but not all.
NO ONE is born morbidly obese. There is no "fat gene" that people are magically born with. Sure, unhealthy eating habits are passed from generation to generation but ultimately it is the individuals responsibility to take care of their health. You get to be fat from eating too much and not exercising. Stop playing the "well they probably have a disease that prevents them from losing weight" card. 99% of people are fat because of their own daily choices.
It's funny that you mention PCOS because I was diagnosed 2 years ago. And guess what, that doesn't automatically condition you to being fat for the rest of your life. I can't deny that it's been hard, it's a daily struggle to maintain balance. But I take it one day at a time and have learned (with medical professionals) what foods are best for me. With all of that I am able to maintain a healthy weight.
@RunningSunGirl i was diagnosed 8 years ago. and was very big for a long time. still am struggling with it. but undiagnosed PCOS could predispose some people to being big, without them knowing why.
i too with a nutritionist's help am being given the chance to lose the weight and maintain the other symptoms.
Ignore that last comment. It's commonly referred to as Stein-Lenenthal syndrome where I'm from. My wife's cousin was diagnosed with it in her late teens. She had every symptom from the high cholesterol to hair growth. She's still a bigger girl but she coaches a lot of the extra curricular sports at her school and is more active than my wife and I combined.

@jelena2112 Oh, and grow the f**k up, learn some manners, and educate yourself on reasons for people being overweight other than binge eating. Such as chronic pain caused by a spine condition causing little to nbo movement.
@jelena2112 I'm big and although not proud to be big, I'm comfortable and I know I'm gorgeous. My man doesn't have a fetish for plus sized women, but he's with me and loves me to pieces. He's perfectly normal and is far from plus sized himself, he's athletic/muscular. Also, I barely eat, I never have an appetite and junk food nauseates me.

@RunningSunGirl research Polycystic ovarian syndrome, and then say there's no gene or hormone that can predispose you to being big.

That's exactly my point. You did not let having PCOS keep you from being at a healthy weight. It takes a little effort that's all.

Never heard of PCOS. I'll go look it up but any chance you could give a brief explanation for the lazy people? Thanks.
