  • This was good.

  • terrible sound :(

  • My God!!!Thank U....

  • Phenomenal....Very nice. Would love to get a copy of this song!

  • u2 should and could put together all their off takes and clean up the audio and make propably 3 or 4 good albums!

I agree that too much is put in the hands of radio stations and youth.

Come on LADS are you not well enough off to make what ever you want?

Why the band cares for peoples approval is ???? John Lennon never cared period.

  • Nice edit to the original audio, but I do admit missing Bono calling out the keys for the changes, "F"

  • sounds like Your Blue Room

  • there are 2 dumb person listening to this song.

  • There guys are so good!

  • the best of all times

  • It makes me swell with pride to know that I'm one of the few people to have the complete outtakes. However, this still isn't the best song on the album. My favorites are Wake Up Dead Man(mix) and the instrumental version of Chances Away. The albums got many songs. It's 3CDs you know. ;-)

  • @crazyu2fan92 I know...I am one of the few as well. Actually in Phila in 1991 many copies were being sold!

  • Great unreleased track.Needs to be rerecorded and put on a future album.

  • U2 at its best!

  • u2 is still at it's best, you've just gotten older and are no longer at your best. If u2 still can grab the attention of young audiences then they are still awesome.

  • wow. can't believe this one didn't make the cut. really great melody. great guitar by the edge too.

  • get the remastered/delux albums

    U2 Medium, Rare & Remastered

    passengers

    singles

also the hansa ton berlin studio outtakes - only avaliable on the net as it was leaked unfinished stuff yet hight quality

  • where do you get all those outtakes from??? I want these songs!!!

  • My uncle gave me a disc of Achtung out-takes. There was a load of alternative versions of Salome, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses and Wake Up Dead Man (The finished version on Pop is much darker then the out-take versions) but this one always stuck out for me. Love listening to it. Never knew it was called Heavan and Hell. Great vid by the way

  • where did you get that stuff, or where did yout uncle get that stuff, or where can i get that stuff

  • this reminds me a bit of Just One More Try by George Michael.

it just has a similar feel with the organ backing and that rhythm.

  • Really love this song! thanks! i`d never heard it before :)

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Im amazed that what U2 throws away is a million times better than what commercial radio passes off as hits. The world is run by what 10 year olds listen to and buy. Its all so sad.

  • what's wrong with that?

  • @mikey226 It's thrown away, because someone stole the demo-cd, during the recording sessions. They decided not to release any of this, but you can still hear a lot of songs that include parts of several songs. For example 'Wake Up Pt. 1' features parts of ...Spinning Head, ...Dead Man and more.

  • Their back catalogue is full of amazing rock song that should have made the albums. How these songs didn't is beyond me!

  • The whole fact that u2 let themselves to waste such master pieces speaks for itslef: the band is too great!!!

  • i think there are better ones but man somehow youre fuckin absolutely right hihi^^

  • really interesting to listen to these Achtung Baby-outtakes, probably U2's most inspired period..keep 'em coming!

  • super....

  • You Made A Great Video

  • @Paint4U2 thanks

  • Very cool!

  • so much better than 'your blue room' anyone agree?

  • Nope. But to each their own.

  • I like the echoes on that song

  • If you listen paying attention to this song, you'll find that it could be considerated as a Prototype version of "Your Blue Room"

  • 80's and 90's U2 fan forever, from Mexico, the country of heaven and hell!!!

  • i love this song, please release this

  • Very good editing on this.

    You should do some more.

And remember to put your logo on the video so people know its made by you.

  • Awsome guitar in chorus...

  • U2 tiene mil de canciones por hay escondidas que no estan en sus albunes oficiales.

  • This song is a gem, thanks for uploading U2 at their height!

  • nice, the recording sounds like a 1-take, could have used some mixing, but it's a nice song

    thanks for posting it

  • Is a cover?...I love this song!

  • wow

  • Thank you for posting this-I've never even heard of this song! It's goregous, if Brain Eno had waved his magic wand over it once or twice, Heaven and Hell might have evolved into one of U2's a-list songs!

  • I wish this had shown up on the album. I LOVE this song. I've always wondered if it's supposed to be Heaven IN Hell because he sings "you light up my darkness". So it would make more sense.

  • yo se que esta cancion dura 6:24 s..

  • it was edited for this video as u can see...

  • grande u2//!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • holy shit-I made this?!?!?!? Where did you get it from?...very cool its up here now...I made it here in the walls of the ESPN machine.

    Swan

  • It also from an album (lp) early 90's.

I've got it. It's called atomic mix.

Contains: baby please, california, did you?,heaven and hell at side 2.

    Anyone familiar with it?

  • It's on the Achtung Baby outtakes box set, 3 cd's. Love it.

  • is there any way you could send it to me?

  • I'll try.

  • where can i find the song "sick for love/woman" from the ouottakes?

  • that sounds like 'black mask' my personal fav from the sessions

  • oh 'black mask' is wonderful, bono's singing is so passionate and spontaneous in that one, it's not just chorus and verse but a more 'elvis presley and america' rambling song one of my fav u2 moments

  • where did you you find this song

  • it's an outtake from the achtung baby sessions (1991)...

  • it has been around for years. i purchased it in the early 90s. i have tons of u2 boots, if you want to know more i can help you find what you are looking for.

also check out my 83 War Tour concert I posted on my page. peace.
