  • I hope your not to supersticious corrine its usually considered bad luck to make your own wedding dress somthing to do with cutting your own cloth and cutting the marrige short i just remember it was something my grandmother told me another thing she told me was that it is traditional to put the last stitch on the dress on the day of the wedding and hide a couple of strands of the brides hair somewhere in the dress.

  • I was wondering... Is Rob making his own suite?

  • Congratulations on your wedding! I don't know why I am glad that you two are going to get married but I am. You look striking in this video!

  • Corrine, you look sooooo pretty in this video! I love your top! Did you make that?

  • So glad you're back. I've missed you so!

  • Anyone know where I can get forms for wrist braces? If I'm going to be just this side of disabled for the rest of my life I may as well look good.

  • p.s. Your resources are flat out genius! You have such a range of incredible ideas. Your own dress sounds gorgeous -- hope we get to see it!

  • You're using "pea silk?" I'm wondering if you mean "peau de soie," (po-de-swa) that is essentially bridal satin. That type of satin can be made from silk or polyester. I have a Christmas ornament made from the scraps of peau de soie from my gown, which was made by my mom. My gown is an heirloom now that I hope my girls will wear -- a DIY gown is a great way to create something special to pass on. Thanks for the video!

  • @mwnjw actually I said peace silk but it definitely sounded like something else:) Such a good idea with the ornament! It is great to have extra fabric to do things like that. Thanks for watching! xoxo c

  • @craftzine I looked up peace silk -- GORGEOUS! Thanks!

  • corinee=]]] you look amazing=]

  • I made my prom dress from one of the vogue patterns on screen... It took my forever.. And those patterns are hard! I fully lined it and made a corset and sewn it in. It was alot of work but it was all worth it! :)

Oh! And good luck on your dress! I never thought of practicing it on other fabric! Awesome idea!! Love it!

  • I wore jeans, timberland's and a down jacket to my wedding

  • yay! timmy from thinkgeek spotting!! xD you're too awesome corrine!!

  • OMG. YOU AND MEGAN ARE ON CRAFTZINEEEE, YAYY.

i was so sad when you guys left threadbanger.

  • I am inspired!

  • Your top is gorgeous!

  • Can you make this for the mens to? :D Suits are so boaring.

  • @heipaadegduP This is a good idea, it would be fun to see what other options and idea there are for the men!

  • omg!!!! i love you Corinne!!!! really wanted to make my own wedding dress and everyone kept saying it was a bad idea, but its supposed to be MY wedding! Thanks for letting me know i'm not the only DIY girl who's making her wedding dress dreams a reality :)

  • @jpinkroses haha, a lot of my friends think I am crazy for doing it. A lot of people out there have never sewn anything before so the thought is the insane to them. But it really is not as hard as it looks you just have take your time. Good luck with your dress! I would love to see a picture of it when you are done! xoxo c

  • You look great!

  • I've want to make a wedding dress when I get married

  • Love this!

  • Oh, man, I wish I had all this info before I got married. Still, mine had a lot of DIY aspects to it, and my dress was dirt cheap (under $200!), but these are all so fun and beautiful!
