you look more great now than before .. you even dress more feminine and your make up are really superb... all your videos are great and awesome...is that the effect of going to be married ... i love you Corrine ...
I hope your not to supersticious corrine its usually considered bad luck to make your own wedding dress somthing to do with cutting your own cloth and cutting the marrige short i just remember it was something my grandmother told me another thing she told me was that it is traditional to put the last stitch on the dress on the day of the wedding and hide a couple of strands of the brides hair somewhere in the dress.
I always wanted to sew an infinity dress due to me being plus size i fear it wont cover me up enough to be appopriate. I plan to someday get brave enough to do it!
You're using "pea silk?" I'm wondering if you mean "peau de soie," (po-de-swa) that is essentially bridal satin. That type of satin can be made from silk or polyester. I have a Christmas ornament made from the scraps of peau de soie from my gown, which was made by my mom. My gown is an heirloom now that I hope my girls will wear -- a DIY gown is a great way to create something special to pass on. Thanks for the video!
@mwnjw actually I said peace silk but it definitely sounded like something else:) Such a good idea with the ornament! It is great to have extra fabric to do things like that. Thanks for watching! xoxo c
I made my prom dress from one of the vogue patterns on screen... It took my forever.. And those patterns are hard! I fully lined it and made a corset and sewn it in. It was alot of work but it was all worth it! :)
Oh! And good luck on your dress! I never thought of practicing it on other fabric! Awesome idea!! Love it!
omg!!!! i love you Corinne!!!! really wanted to make my own wedding dress and everyone kept saying it was a bad idea, but its supposed to be MY wedding! Thanks for letting me know i'm not the only DIY girl who's making her wedding dress dreams a reality :)
@jpinkroses haha, a lot of my friends think I am crazy for doing it. A lot of people out there have never sewn anything before so the thought is the insane to them. But it really is not as hard as it looks you just have take your time. Good luck with your dress! I would love to see a picture of it when you are done! xoxo c
Oh, man, I wish I had all this info before I got married. Still, mine had a lot of DIY aspects to it, and my dress was dirt cheap (under $200!), but these are all so fun and beautiful!
I love list videos like this! I just exposed to a cornucopia of new references and sites to use. Corrinne is such a wonderful seamstress and I hope she gets us footage of the wedding. (I'm a former Threadhead and I can't express how excited I am for her and Rob) You make me want to get a dress ready for a wedding!!
Love the videos, but the camera person needs to hold the camera still, gettin dizzy up in heah!

Anyone know where I can get forms for wrist braces? If I'm going to be just this side of disabled for the rest of my life I may as well look good.
