This is Mexican "Cumbia". If you are gonna be teaching Cumbia you may as well be doing the AUTHENTIC real stuff from Colombia. I'm not talking about the folk style but actual modern REAL Cumbia hits. Edmundo Arias, Billo's Caracas Boys, Los Melodicos, Armando Hernandez, El Tropicombo, Afrosound, Rodolfo Aicardi, and El Combo de las Estrellas are good examples of artists who do REAL modern Cumbia!

@alen1020 There is no "AUTHENTIC" cumbia... and I have to say that Mexican Cumbia is much more popular than Cumbia from Colombia (for dancing at least)

Anyways, this is line dancing. Who would even want to use Cumbia from Colombia for that? Wouldn't work out very well, would it?
