Nice lesson, thanks !! I noticed that you're playing bass drum with your left foot ... Did you always play like that ? After 25 years of playing, last year I discovered (almost by accident) that my left foot felt tremendously stronger and more comfortable playing bass drum than my right foot and now I have switched feet ... It's nice to see someone else playing like that ...
Thanks for the compliments! Wow, it's cool that you discovered this unlocked talent of yours! I was self taught initially and learnt to play right handed on a left handed kit. My left foot is far stronger but over years of teaching my right foot is now also pretty strong as well. The world needs more ambidextrous drummers don't you think? ;-)
NIce video. I like your e-drumset. Is that your main one? I like both electronic and acoustic sets lol but i perfer electronic the best. Oh and....you need more toms and cymbals....lol
believe me, haha cool accent

This video is great. I believe your right foot as good as your left. I guess you can even do double paradidle and strokes with your feet...

hey can yo make a normal drumsets bass drum sound like that?
egholbrook 3 years ago
With a little bit of fine tuning and the right kind of muffling it is possible to get a snappy and crisp sounding bass drum.
It takes practice and experience though unfortunately.
