hm. So assuming the task force is made up of the tiller, and engine, why do they send the tiller to auto accidents? Seems like, pointless to me, Does LAFD have a heavy rescue?
@CuseRecorder a Task Force is a Pump,Front line Engine and a truck.(E2,E202,T2). The truck is usually sent for the equipment that the engine doesn't carry such as some forcible entry tools and extrication equipment. It also has to do with manpower. and yes LAFD does have heavy rescues. the heavy rescues are mostly called out for the major traffic accidents like a roll overs and trapped patients.
@secret1service A pump goes everywhere with the truck and it only carries one Engineer. A front line engine goes on every basic call and carries about 4 FF's. They are similar except one engine is with the truck and the other is by itself.
@BE3700 There are no paramedics on Engine 2 because Engine 2 is not an Assessment resource. The LAFD has Paramedic Assessment Engines and Light Forces and just normal Engines and Light Forces. A Light Force consists of a Truck and the Pump (in this case T2 and E202.)
