The Allied troops had more food supplies than Germany. This man was probably suffering from old age when he made this speech. the First World War Britain had the biggest navy in the world.

Just because the industrial revolution started in Britain doesn't mean they had the industrial power to beat Germany. The German offensive in 1917 would have probably ended the war in Germanys favor if America did not get involved. and this is fact.

and yes The British navy was always the stronger power, which is why Germany developed U-boats to attempt to stop Supply ships, mostly AMERICAN supply ships. And this was before America declared war on Germany. So German U-boats started attacking every ship in the Atlantic to try and stop the war/food supplies from reaching Britain. This is also fact. So really America was supporting the British the whole time, and we got mad when they started sinking American ships.
