  • It is interesting that you said that when you experienced shedding you would talke garlic and that it worked for you. how much garlic did you take and for how long to see any results?

    thxs.

  • Me too... with the iron, and God Bless! :)

  • I've heard that Biotin was a form of vitamin H...

  • Have you ever tried Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Threat line its all natural??

  • Wow!! Very helpful! I thank you for info!

  • so how much biotin do u take?!? what is the mcg of the biotin pill u take and how many times a day do u take it?

  • @simplyblessed05 ... Right now I only take 1 supplement called Maxi-Hair ... Its a hair and nail vitamin and it has 2,000mcg

  • @KISSseventyseven maxi hair from countrylife?? i am planning to buy this ,has any good results?

  • I want to take MSM but the bottle says nothing about hair growth??

  • @yobiwolrd07 .... Research it ... Use google and MSM for hair growth and you will get tons of results... Research ingredients in Hair and skin supplements and they all carry MSM

  • Good info

Check out my REAL hair growth

    youtube.com/watch?v=zZ7ladVIjDU

  • I've periodically purchased a lot of those pills often, I want to know within your routine do you take one bottle of each every other day instead of taking all of them all together?

  • @Deliciouschoc ...I split them up the dosage took them 2x a day and some I took every other day... Recently I have only been taking one supplement called Maxi- Hair and I split that dosage up into 2 also... Once in the morning and the other at night

  • Hi Traycee, your videos are so helpful, you have inspired me, to start my first hair journey. My hair has always been relaxed I have used Namaste relaxers by Or. For the last 5 years, I only relax evry 5 to 6 months, I would see hair growth, but then experience sheding about 6 weeks post. can you tell me what relaxer do you use. I have also kicked my blow dryer to the kirb, and I am taking the supplements. Thank you s much, your such a inspiration. Please keep making your videios, thank you!

  • @shinky38 ... Awww thank you... If you ever want to know what I'm using check out my regimen on my page on KISS k-i-s-s(dot)biz

  • @BananaaMoon ....Thanks but remember ... Most of them are suggested by my DR... I'm probably older than you sweetie and I'm anemic and have knee issues .. Thats why I started off saying that I have always taken supplements for health reason....

  • Hey traycee! Ive been taking prenatal pills that have: vit A , C (200%), D, E, B1, B2, B6, Folic acid, B12, Calcium, Iron (156%).

    I also take biotin 1000mcg (333%).

I was afraid of adding biotin to my diet but after researching they say it is fine just not too much. Is the MSM and gelatin ok for pregnant women? Or should I just be fine with what Im taking?

  • @tbenjami2010 ...Hey... To be honest I couldn't say... Just becareful all supplements are not safe during pregnancy.. Just check with your OB before taking a new vitamin

  • Traycee, is gelatin part of your regimen now? I read about gelatin and found that it is derived from the collagen inside animals' skin and bones. I am asking because you mentioned that you're a vegetarian.

  • @Skye525 ....They make vegetarian gelatin supplements

  • I was watching your video, and I was reminded of all the different vitamins and a supplement I was trying to help with the pain in my knees. I’m an avid tennis player and the years of wear had taken it's, and I had considered giving up the game. Not to sound like an infomercial, I start using GBG10 in One Vitamin and just to say I’m on it for life, and I cut up my GNC card. I have free samples if you like to try them.I'm certain that the GBG will make a difference in your life.mygbg4u@yahoo.com

  • @WhyGBG4u ....Thanks for the info... I just googled it... I'm going to research it out ... It looks great so far.. I will contact them and get samples but thank you so much for offering them... Have a blessed weekend !!!

  • @KISSseventyseven Thanks for checking out GBG, whenever your ready I'll be only to happy to get you some samples..

  • @0216boss .... No I haven't been convinced that it is safe...I will probably never try it

  • question: have you ever stopped taking your supplents to see what happens? I ask this question because i also take supplements pretty much similar to what your taking but I split the dosage throughout the day, and remenbering all the pills when I am suppose to take them is a lot . Somebody else also told me that I am taking way too many pills, so I was wondering if you've ever stopped taking any of your supplements and had had any negative effects?

    thanks for the info.

    God bless you.

  • Hey Traycee,

Have you ever experienced break outs from biotin or msm? Also, any tips on how to prevent breakouts while on them. Drinking lots of water and a balanced diet are the two most obvious, but, anymore?

Thanks so much in advance for your response.

  • Hi Traycee,

Do you think I need to take Biotin in order to reap the benefits of MSM. I am researching on line and asked my K.I.S.S sisters and I'm getting mixed reviews. Some say I need both Biotin and MSM together others say I can take MSM without Biotin. I have tried Biotin in the past and it has ruined my skin so now I am taking a multi which contains 30mcg of Biotin, MSM 1000 mg 2x, and Fishoil 1000 mg 2x. I hope this makes sense basically I am asking, is MSM useless without Biotin? Thanks

  • @BellaPersonified sorry lol i know you didnt ask me but whoever told you that you need biotin and msm together is dumb, msm has many purposes and so does biotin. its going to affect your body however it wants too, it will be distorted throughout your body wherever its needed. people probably say that because they are both needed for the hair.some advice about breaking out from biotin just lower the dosage...A LOT, your body is only going to take what it needs anyway :) 30mcg of biotin is nothing

  • Hi! ^__^ Good advice! I am really into nutrition. One reason there are "mega-dose" vitamins, is you don't absorb all the nutrients in the pill. With 100% rda vitamin xyz, you are not getting 100% of it, especially if the vitamin is synthetic as opposed to whole food derived. If you are eating a balanced diet, you don't "need" a large dose. (They are not recommended for everyone) Actually, eating a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, will go many times over the rda of many nutrients. : )

  • i just bought 5000mcg of biotin and 1000 msm...is that too much biotin? would it be ok to take 1 every other day then?

    your hair is beautiful btw!

  • @133anne: Yes that is too much, the high biotin dosage will create an excessive release of your other B vitamins; resulting in a deficiency.

  • How many mgs in Biotin to you take? Right now I have Super High Potency Biotin 5000 mcg is that too much to fully absorb? What do you recommend?

  • im pregnant and taking prenatal vitamins my hair seems to get thicker every day.... the prenatals have lots of iron

  • @bellareina05 ... Yes prenatal vitamins are great ....So are the pregnancy hormones..hahahahhahaa... I get the best growth during pregnancy

  • doesnt the gelatin derive from pork?

  • @BEAUTIFULHAIR3 ....DOn't say that... I try to buy vegetarian vitamins ... I'm about to do my research on the gelatin ......I haven't taken it in a long time though

  • @BEAUTIFULHAIR3 I noticed you take MSM, try the Triflex from GNC it uses MSM and Chrondrotin which helps with rebuild the cartilage in your knees and other parts of your body. In reference to the gelatin being derived from pork, some are and some aren't you have to check what you are using. There is a company call Procap laboratories who makes all natural supplements and combines many of the vtamins that you are using. They carry a very good hair and nail vitamin.

  • I am all for taking supplements and nourishing my body; I would love to follow a similar routine. But I must admit that I am concerned of the affect that these supplements may have on the digestive system. In other words I would be very concerned about constipation. Can you make any suggestions? Keep up the good work! & God bless.

  • @ZionaLove1 .....The only ones that effect me is the iron ...But working out and eating veggies and fiber help.... But I have to take my iron if I don't take anything else

  • @KISSseventyseven

I find that eating either raw vegetable or fresh fruit... first thing in the morning on a empty stomach is very affective. I have also incorporated raw ginger into my daily diet, it's so helpful. Take care and keep up the good work and please maintain your iron regimen. God Bless.

  • @ZionaLove1 ....Thanks for the tip... I will check out the raw ginger

  • thanx love !! how long did it take to grow ur hair that length ...n i will b trying that egg treatment :)

  • Have you ever taken Collagen? I am tempted to try it but I am assuming similiar to Gelatin

  • Ok so im kind of confused, im a teen and im trying to grow out my hair but I don't even know where to start off of as how to grow long hair. I see these videos and they say cut your hair of " go natural, it grows quicker -_- but I dont want to cut off all of my hair. I have been cutting back on using heat. BIG problem when I go to the hair salon the lady that trims my hair trims my hair when it doesn't need to be.. Last time I went it had grew but she cut it so now im starting from before :/

  • DV reccommended is 18mg so dont ovr do it bc sum1 with long hair takes more. It can cause toxicity. Your health is more important. Also, remember she stated that a helathy diet is essential. Hhg!!

  • To share some advice w/ you all, what I do after watching I make note of what she uses and the benefits of each and I do a little research of my own. Tht may eliminate some of the questions you are asking. Do what best fits you. I am also anemic so I have to take 60mg a day.

  • umm .. may i ask what is wrong with your knees? because i have knee problems myself and i actually have been diagnosd with a name.. (forgot wat its calld) and mayb those can help meee

  • Hi, i have high blood presure, i take blood pressure pills daily, what supplement should i like for my hair skin and nails? thanks u for the info..

  • @braidsbombshell ..You would need to talk to your dr and find out which ones are safe for you

  • so do u take all of the vitamins at the same time

  • @Beautiful155 ..I try to split it up in 2... So at morning and at night

  • Just to add to what you said about taking large doses of these vitamins. It has been linked to kidney failure because you are simply urinating out the excess and after so long it takes a toll on your kidneys. Simple is best.

  • Hey Ms.Traycee, quick question sweetie, I know you a busy lady. But do you think if I start my vitamin reg. with taking GNC hair ,skin, and nails,My regular multi Centrum Chewables, and Fish supplements...The GNC has Biotin 3000 mcg and MSM 100 mg, do you think this would make a great vitamin reg? Thanks sweetie

  • @PrincessBeautyLounge ...Sounds great...Though your Centrum and Hair and skin vitamins should all contain Biotion and MsM.....You I would and add that up b/c that should be enough

  • @KISSseventyseven Wooo Hooo I'm so happy you replyed so quickly, thank you so much sweetie.

  • botin do u take

  • ive been taking biotin what do you think of these supplements??

  • biotin is non toxic there is no recommended dose to take i know this for a fact you must take ne thing within two to four hours of each other to avoid mixing of the pills thats taken . =) be careful shes right ladies

  • this is a unrelated response but, i have been very curious about what type of perm u use and is there any chance of a relaxer day tut . p.s. i do take a few of the supplement daily thanks for ur input and info

  • @N2MAKEUP ..Silk Elements Mega Silk Regular Lye Relaxer

  • Heyy, I would like to start taking vitamins to benefit my hair growth process, but I really don't want to take that many supplements a day b/c I take birth control everyday. Which supplement do you recommend for me?

  • @Mikk9311 ...I would suggest a Daily Women's Vitamin or a Hair Vitamin

  • I take daily supplements but I take my in the form of liquid or I bye capsules to open and out in my water because the supplemets that I use to take in the form of tablets were not digesting in my system fully. I have been anemic for a while but I would take iron supplements off and on but now I take them daily. Yeah my anemia was the root cause of my hair loss. So my iron is a must:)

  • I'm favoriting this video. I learned SO much.

  • Great vid & pretty hair. Good information! Thanks

  • Thanks sis because i always go for the high doses like my biotin i went for the 5000mg thanks for the info:~0

  • Thanks sis because i always go for the high doses like my biotin i went for the 5000mg thanks for the info:~0

  • hey! i commend u for trying to educate women on hair growth. HHG!

  • OMG, those are alot of vitamins to take daily. I currently only take iron supplements so what 3 vitamins do you consider to be more important/beneficial? I figure start off with 3 and build on those cause I would be broke running out of gnc/vitamin shoppe with all of those supplements. lmao... By the way I so love your hair, I just stare at your pics/videos in fascination (creepy huh?!) lol

  • @sweepee2005 ..I started off taking a few and soon added more supplements.... They run out at different times so I don't spend a lot of money

  • Yeah that is a lot of pills; I own a few of those myself.

    Do vitamins expire?

Does lack of Iron when you're anemic, or have an iron deficiency, really contribute to hair loss? If that's like proven to be true, that's probably why I lose so much hair when I comb. (Even with a widetooth comb.)

    Great Vid!

  • @MrszRenaissance ... Yes vitamins and supplements expire... Yes lack of iron can mean your anemic depend on your count.. Best way to find out if your anemic is going to the doctor..

Yes hair loss is caused by anemia or something else missing in the blood most of the time

  • @KISSseventyseven thanks for the info!

  • i joined a few days ago

  • I will add to my vitamins, that I am taking now.

  • Awesome Video! Great Info!

  • YOU ARE SO RIGHT My Grandmother took much vitamins and it mess up her liver.

  • That's a lot of vitamins. Do you feel you have a tolerance built up? You obviously have great benefits (great skin and hair) it just seems like a lot. What would you recommend as a "one-a-day"?

  • @neobrown81 ....No tolerance..They are Different vitamins and Nutrients in each one..They all have separate jobs ...One a day are good...But you wont get certain vitimens like fish oil etc...

But you should be taking a multi vitamin everyday anyway..

  • great vid i read someware that we stop producing collagen early idk the age like 18 to 20 some thing and collagen is needed for elasticity in the skin i use st ives collagen elastin moisturizer at night and my skin is so soft and firm i will try the supplement when the moisturizer is done i also am anemic so iron is a must ALSO MSM AND CHLORELLA the super food thanks to dr oz BUT lhcf was on it long ago as usual

  • @CHAQUI11 ...I didn't know the St ives has a colloagen moisturizer....Young folks don't need to take collagen...I read its a good supplement to take if your over 30

  • Thanks KISSseventyseven you are a good person because you don't mind sharing your beauty secrets with everyone.

  • Thanks KISSseventyseven you are a good person because you don't mind sharing your beauty secrets with everyone.

  • Hey Lady!

One quick question, I was 'thinking' about trying the fish oil...but have heard some people say that after taking it you belch/burp fishy smell...LOL! Do you have this problem when you take your fish oil vitamin? And if so, does it last all day or just a little while after your stomach digests it? And is the burp really that bad in your mouth or is it tolerable?

    Thanks!

    *~*

  • @Nubianqueen001974 ....I have burped fish smell with another brand..But I never done it with the brand Im using now ( Costco's Mothers Made) ....I been taking that one for 1year now..So I think its the brand maybe...

With the brand that I did burb with...It was on occasion ...Not often and it would just be a burp ...I didnt have a taste in my mouth

  • @KISSseventyseven Ahh...okay, cool! I think I'll try the (Mothers Made) brand then. You've helped me with my decision to take fish oil or not too...and now I want to try it! So I greatly appreciate you sharing your comment and experience with the oil. *~*

  • Good information. Aging has a great deal to do with genetics as well. Water water water : - )) Please make a video addressing why you work out and the importance of it. Thanks sis.

  • great vid! i have all of your mentioned vitamins from your old supplement vid on here, and some as recommendation from your site, which I love by the way! they really do make a difference in my skin and hair. when i slack up and forget i do notice a difference. thanks for such great advice!

  • At what time of day do you take your vitamins? And how do you remember when to take them?I always forget to take mine. Right now I take a multivitamin and nioxin superrecharge for my hair

  • @ambs0587 ..I have to take mine right after breakfast to remember...I also have a pill holder in my purse so if I forget I can take them even while I'm out

  • Thank You this is great that u shared all of that with us- I really appreciate that.

  • I take a multivitamin, Biotin, Vitamin C and Omega 3. I might try the garlic if my hair starts shedding. I tend to shed more before I relax. Good Information. Thanks.

  • do you take this all in one day?

  • Thanks for the vid!!

  • I was just talking to my gf about vitamins. She takes them religiously like you and I don't. But I need to. I'm so glad you did this vid because now I know what to take. My gf also take iron, super b complex and biotin. Thanks for your sharing this valuable information.

  • thank traycee for this video and you did it very well as far as informing and making sure not to take them in larger doses. i have a question though i have been going through you page and on kiss and i cant find where or what your starting length for you hair when you started so could you mention that or blog about it plz. im just curious. have agreat day girly. ciao for now. :)

  • @nbilladeau ...I was using Fotki but I let that account go...I need to tranfer the old pics to KISS...You could also go to the beginning of my blog also..

  • @KISSseventyseven ok i will do that traycee thank you for the info and all that you do. KISS is amazing in everyone. and oh happy sisters day! :)

  • @nbilladeau ..Oh your welcome...I will try to remember to add those photos this week

  • I take alot of supplements also...Wish they would make one magical pill with everything in it...It becomes annoying lol But you do see a difference after continued use.

  • Hi Traycee..I take supplements as well (Biotin and Iron supplements). My mother is a breast cancer survivor as well as yours (2 years this June...yay!) I was wondering what you would suggest a good regimen would be for her to start growing her hair back. She finished her chemo treatments almost 3 years ago, but her hair has only grown a half inch back. Please if you have any suggestions for me that I could share with her to help her feel better about herself. Thanks for everything!!

  • Thanks for sharing. I also take vitamins. My multivitamin contains a lot of things you showed so I don't have to take them singularly. So does the multivitamin you take not contain all or most of the other vitamins that you take? Also thanks for the tip on msm. I'd never known what it was for!

  • Do you take all of these vitamins daily?

  • Thank you Tracy Because of your hair advice My Hair is Thriving...Thanx Again I am Eternally Greatful!!

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • I like the msm, biotin, fish oil, multivitamin for women and sometime skin hair nail vitamins (vitamin shoppe), iron. I wil try to gat better with my vitamin C, and the bcomplex. Thanks for sharing I feel like I am on track.
