This worked really well! The "lo-fi" effect on the vocals is actually a great touch; adds a lot of character to the mix.

I'm glad you liked it. I Must admit that the mix was a bit of a challenge. Had to remove a lot of ambient noise on the voice track to get it as clean as possible, and this resulted in having this special touch...I really appreciate your feedback. take care

Overall very nice... the vocalist is buried in the mix ... I would re-EQ her voice a bit ... needs a little more upper freq's boosted, and I parametric cut at about 500hz as her voice sounds a little boxey down there. Just my 2 cents having done some time in studio. All the elements are there, but the balance between band and vocals needs a little work. I would also try some different reverb and echo settings for her voice, as she sounds like she is in a barrel. The band is clean and tight.

Hey, thank you very much for your feedback. You are right, the mix could be much improved. To be honest, I have faced quite of a challenge with trying to mix different tracks, taken with different levels of quality and frequency. Especially true for the voice as I had to remove a lot of ambient noise....I'm working on the next one , and hopefully will manage to get a better balance/mix. Well done all around, but I've got to congrats the bass cause thats what I play and it gets overlooked too often. Great tone, really stood out in the mix and very balanced across the strings. Do you use balanced strings? Looks like a headless bass or semi-headless or something. Graphite neck by the look and sound of it, thats what I play as well.

@wardearth Thank you for your nice comment. I'm palying on Kubicki Factor bass, made by Philip Kubicki.  And you are right. It has a rosewood fretboard, with Factor stainless round wound strings. It is a somewhat growly on the low end, but very expressive. My favorite.
