Love the concept and the products give us all a good variety to choose from. Length doesn't matter...some things just can't be expressed in a measely 10 minutes...who cares about the length as long we can get good well thought out trusted information.
Hi. You can go either way with the eye primers however "Two Faced" is my favorite. You always need a primer but not always a base. If you are going for a softer, day time , casual look, only use your primer. It will prevent creasing and fading all day long. For more bold dramtic colors, you can use a base in a coresponding color to your shadow. The shadow will really "pop" & be as bold as it is in the pan. Nyx Milk is great for dramatic matte colors like red yellow orange purple brite pink ect.
Cool! I use a lot of those drug store brands and I have all the Coastal Scents palettes. I don't have a lot of really expensive makeup but I'd like to try the paint pots...I've heard a lot of good things about those. Thanks for always smiling and ignoring the hater comments.
I completely agree with what you said about wet mascaras. To me, Loreal Telescopic seems way to wet and it smells horrible. I think I want to try Covergirl Lashblast Waterproof. Good video, like your eyeshadow!
really? I haven't had any problems with it. This may sound weird, but sometimes I use it to line my lower lashline. I take the end tip of it and line my eyes. It works wonderfully because it doesn't move on my waterline and lashline. Loreal Telescopic also burned my eyes when I tried to put it on my lower lashes.

Hi Emily, I dont know if you have already tried the product yet or not its pretty new. Anyway, I bought the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel eyeliner yesterday and I LOVE IT! It makes lining eyes so easy and it even come with a brush. Plus, it is so cheap just like 8$ So far I have the color Eggplant but Im definitely going to buy the black one too! :)
Maybe next year if you do this again, you could have a picture of a time you have used these eye shadows to show how they look when your wearing them?

Dear Emily, I love you and your videos. I don't know if that's your studio/broadcasting make-up but it ages you by 10 years. I don't mean to be rude but I think you're more beautiful when you're natural.
I love Lash Blast! I feel like it is like my eyelashes, but better. If that makes sense :) It looks natural, but if I want it to look more dramatic it's easy to do so. If I put Mabelline Lash Stiletto on and then Lash Blast, my eyelashes look fake. I've had people ask me before if they're fake!
I am just wondering what camera you use Emily...I do videos too but my camera transitions from making me look very bronzed to making me look ultra pale and this makes it hard to do tutorials.

Emily, you didn't mention NYC eyeliner?! I tried it from your recommendation and I love it. I tried makeup forever gel liner, Lancome liquid and l'oreal liquid liner which I really like and used for a looong time.. But for the price and the staying power.. I really like NYC's eyeliner.. how about an honorable mention? I do have to agree that Relvon liquid eyeliner have great staying power but too bad it stings a little on my lids. Love their pen liner too.
I completely agree on the smashbox shadows... but don't care for their cream liners as much. When I found out my sister in law only owned 2 eyeshadows... (yeah... 2 one clinique and one drugstore!!) I rushed out and bought her a smashbox gift set. <3 great video I think I'll finally give in to the lash blast hype...

For high end liners, I recommend you try the Stila eye kajal for a pencil. The buxom gel eyeliner is really good too.

How do you feel about the two faced primer vs. urban decay primer potion? I want to buy one .. I'm just not sure which way to go!
Also .. do you still need primer when your using a base .. like the NYX pencil or a creme shadow?

I've heard people say if you have oily lids go for Urban Decay Primer Potion, if you have dry lids then go for Two Faced Shadow Insurance.
Yes, when you use a base, you should use a primer under it to prevent creasing!

@futnyors - you really need to find something more exciting to do then don't you think? if its too long - skip it. you waste way more energy complaining than actually watching - something is wrong with that equation.

i really want to get the coastal scents gel liners, but on their site there are a lot of reviewers who are saying theirs arrived quite dry...has anyone here experienced that? i also wonder what the new elf cream liner is like...that's only $3!

I love Lash Blast! I feel like it is like my eyelashes, but better. If that makes sense :) It looks natural, but if I want it to look more dramatic it's easy to do so. If I put Mabelline Lash Stiletto on and then Lash Blast, my eyelashes look fake. I've had people ask me before if they're fake!

I am just wondering what camera you use Emily...I do videos too but my camera transitions from making me look very bronzed to making me look ultra pale and this makes it hard to do tutorials.

Emily, you didn't mention NYC eyeliner?! I tried it from your recommendation and I love it. I tried makeup forever gel liner, Lancome liquid and l'oreal liquid liner which I really like and used for a looong time.. But for the price and the staying power.. I really like NYC's eyeliner.. how about an honorable mention? I do have to agree that Relvon liquid eyeliner have great staying power but too bad it stings a little on my lids. Love their pen liner too.

I completely agree on the smashbox shadows... but don't care for their cream liners as much. When I found out my sister in law only owned 2 eyeshadows... (yeah... 2 one clinique and one drugstore!!) I rushed out and bought her a smashbox gift set. <3 great video I think I'll finally give in to the lash blast hype...

Love the video! I bought that Almay mascara after you recommended it previously and I LOVE IT. Almost every mascara I used previously would clump on me but this one never does, holy grail material for sure.. :)
