@Miwa200, well they don't explain in the games but in the Knuckles the Echidna "Archie" comics they explain that Charmie has 2 different sizes , flight mode ( small ) and normal mode ( flightless ) he eventually learns how to fly in normal mode the time. Well that's how it is in the comics anyway
