I don't wanna compare those guys based on such a stupid jam. IMHO Vernon shouldn't join such occasions, it's in contrast to what he typically represents. To me he is one of the few true free minded heads & spirits in a much to stereotypical rock guitar world. He's good in exploring, trying, risking, conquering and sometimes also failing. Stuff like this doesn't allow him to do any of that....

no offense, but Uli was all stock licks in his 8 bars. Watch how he comes out of it and the other guys are like 'that's all?' Can't satisfy no woman with only 30 seconds. Alex ripped some sick licks, and Vernon had more original blues going on than any of 'em. Keep hatin'.

It's really cool to see the way different musicians interact with each other. Uli is dead cool & maybe even a bit blasé about it all, but you can see Alex is a bit in awe of vernon; trying to copy some of his licks.

Actually I wasnt referring to your comparison with Uli, but with Alex. Uli is a legend, but Vernon earned respect even from jazz musicians. He is very versatile and often cited as one of the best guitarists.

I dont like to compare musicians. Specially after they get to some level of greatness. The 3 of them are great, Michael Schenker too.

Really...How is MS years ahead of Al D?IMO Al D is way more diverse and dynamic than MS. Al D was as much as a prodigy in the 70's. What he did with RTF and his solo albums..He was the begining of shred guitar...

Schenker was one of the first to incorporate neo-classical along with Blackmoore, Uli Roth and Hendrix into his music.you have no clue who Schenker is.

it was an amazing night and it was an honour to be a part of it getting the chance to sing one of living colours songs 'middle man' intially we were suppose to do 'cult of personality' and when asked if i knew middle man i said yeah i know it truth is i had never heard the song in my life and spent 2 days trying to learn it lol the midnight session was an awesome event and watching these guys jam to this classic track was truly a rare privilege awesome night
