Ronnie embraced his life, his voice, everything!!! Receding hair line? Yea, at 67 years of age! 67!!!! Not many would out here would have the strength to do this on a tour circuit at this age with this energy...and to keep his voice after all these years. The man is the best that they come. No toupees, no cosmetic surgery, a marriage that lasted, not ashamed that the human body gives in to gravity. This man is THE MAN.
Shame the bass on this recording is so weak... I can hardly hear Geezer, and I can't hear Vinny's bass drums, only the click of the beaters on the skins (and the bass on my speakers is right up). R. I. P. Dio, what a legend. Singing like this w/throat cancer, aged 66... this lot really prove that some 60+ rockers should still be touring... the Stones can fuck off, but H&H, Led Zep and The Who still cut it... now we just need Robert Plant to return to LZ, and get the original Sabbath lineup back.
@EccentricRichard There are a few of the old guys that can still throw down...what I love about it is these guys are so spot-on perfect in their performances. Most of those bands the teenyboppers love right now couldn't play this good on their best days.
Tony could have learned to play on the other side, but he didn't. It would have likely been harder than using the thimbles and playing the way you are naturally inclined
@onshrooms420 He has no tips on those fingers, so if he didn't use them, his fingers would tear open and bleed all over the place. He mentioned it in a 2008 "Guitar World" article.
Amazing, defining performance. I can´t think of any other band or musician with 40+ years in their careers that still can nail their greatest hits with such dedication and accuracy as Black Sabb... err Heaven & Hell.
Who the fuck cares about his receeding hair line? The guy is a legend and all of us can only wish we have that much energy and dedication once we are in our 60s.
I LISTEN to Sabbath because they are the almighty kings of heavy music. I don't give a flying fuck about their haircuts, what shoes they wear or any other insignificant thing.
But Iommis cool look, leather jacket, cross and glasses sure doesn't hurt - dont you think? Even though it will always be second to their gifted music :) I am so glad I have experienced them live (in sweden 6th of june 09).
r n r guy this song was written 15 years before welcom to the jungle so if anything G n R ripped it off from Sabath

Why the heck in the solo there are two guitars? One plays the solo, and the other fills the mids in the rythm.
Keys? SOmeone in the backstage?

@Ulai777
He did learn how to play opposite. Infact, on the Cross Purposes Live video, for the performance of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, he plays right handed.

Why are bands always hiding additional musicians from the audience? I hear a rhythm guitar behind Tony's solo.

I wish I could hear more music like this in this generation. Now, all you hear is pop shit.

I had no clue Iommi still used the "thimbles" on his fingers. I thought he just toughed it out or something

Great voice considering the guy is 67! (According to wikipedia anyway). I think he should do something about his rapidly receeding hairline though!
