@hotpassoa It is a Clavicus Vile quest; a daedric shrine (near Skingrad). You will need to have 500 gold for this quest (as an offer to summon Daedra) and also you need to be lvl 20 or better :/

Anyway, one tip: Do not finish Umbra related quest... Just keep it active with a zero weight sword that kicks so much ass it permanently smells of farts :D

ok this is true 100 percent most fans of elder scrolls and oblivion vote that umbra and goldbrand are the 2 best swords in the game without expantions

umbra has the strongest attack out of all other weapons besides the bound sword i'm talking about phisical strength not enchantments

goldbrand has high attack and a powerful fire enchantment in your a high lv if your like a lv 45 it will propaly be 20-25 fire damage and im not talking about weapons you make ok im just saying

i killed her solo at lvl 2 it was pretty easy with brusef amelia's sword.

she hits pretty high

when u get umbra sword, you cannot drop it

it really doesnt phase me as it weighs 0

@allys911 I think you can still do it but she'll be a lot harder because she has lvled with you through the game. You just need to duplicate health potions and keep on fighting her I guess.

anyone else kinda pissed that the best damaging weapon in the game is a one handed weapon? just saying it ruins it, like i i choose a battle axe because i want massive damage, whats the point when theres a weapon thats faster, does more damage and can be used with a shield? I say just have balancing so there can be a preference. Also what about the people who picked blunt specialization? Do they get the short end of the stick now?

Theres a place you can go (no level requierments) In an acient ruin, kill a bunch of guys who arnt that hard then kill a girl wearing

full ebony armour (which is pretty easy if your good enogh) And she is carrying Ebony Armour and the umbra. You also get a quest i think. XD

listen to make the best weapon first make a great black soul gem then duplicate it and then encahnt a dreadric sword put lighting fire and ice in the sword and put the soul spell on it to last 5 or less seconds and done a sword that kills with one hit its pretty awesome

I get Umbra soon as I have joined the blades. Go get her pissed off and she will chase you all the way to Cloud Ruler and then you let the Blades and Martin Septim kick the shit out of her and bang! Ebony armour and Umbra sword at level 1/2

1. You play a soulstealer/spellsword.

2. When you only have vanilla oblivion

3. When you are a blade user

He's probably got it on easy mode. You get really strong and your enemies become weak and there attacks don't effect you a lot.

you can duplicate with any, yes ANY scroll, and you can duplicte with however many scrolls you have, you'll get that numbered of desired dupes!

I found this out out of curiosity while watching the first vid i watched on the scroll dupe trick i got two scrolls duped another scroll, had two of those, drop one of either, dupe the two to the one that you dropped, pick up three, dupe the three to the two... keep going for infinitly increasing scrolls all of this = extreme lag though LOL

getting umbra is easy, even on the hardest difficulty, ya just know how to get her attention to poison gas.... pit fall trap..... Standing on the broken pillar with a claymore..... good spells....... hax (lulwut?)........ She is only hard if your not real great at puzzle solving or if you actually want to fight the bitch =P

@THEDEVIL1992 if rare is by definition:"The only type of that item in the game",Then i must say that there are more "rare" items then there are normal items considering the fact that "rare" enchanted elven boots made by the developers would outnumber the normal "common" elven boots which only number 1,and so on with other items.... all of the enchanted extras would probably even outnumber the miscellaneous and skill related items which are found in the game. Anyway hope you get the point :).

Yeah... congratufuckinlations. How about raising the difficulty? Ya know, not playing on the lowest. Umbra is level 50 and is supposed to be hard. You should raise the difficulty meter to the half. Then, things will be more fun. For example: You cant 1-hit kill a goblin of your level (Actualy, not even a rat). And if you think its easy, get OOO and OXP
