Nice work robots42! Nicely painted and sculpted... or was it a casting? I worked on the figures @ EPCOT several years ago. The wear from repetitive movement was constant but the work was a blast. You could butter in lip tubes and attach to actuators to get better articulation.

I'd say it needs some randomization for the movements and NOT the smooth long moves it does, side to side that is. I'd suggest randomize X,Y, and Z-axis (Z would then be something like moving it forward and backwards).

As for the motors for the mouth I'd suggest some type of screw and wire-solution for the torque as the rubber or silicon or whatever is being used, probably slows everything down.

Also, the chin needs this to in order to pout with the mouth... Great mold otherwise!

If you mean the lip sync could be better, you are right. It is vox operated and as you must have noticed the speaker who recorded the MP3 files supplied by the client runs all his words together making vox operation very difficult. There was no time to manually create a mouth track from the MP3 files, so that is the way it was.
