  • @SPEEDINGemoKIDD A vol. dept. the next town over has had a Jeep rig for at least 20 years. It's a CJ8 so it has a little bigger bed. The only downside is you can haul alot of water. But yes, properly set up, they are great brush rigs.

  • LOL freakin cool.

  • noisy little bastards. lol very cool i like the one with the 2 federal beacons .

  • fast

  • What kind of sirens are on those jeeps?

  • Holy hell that last jeep nearly hit you!

  • Why is it every video on YouTube showing fire depts vol or otherwise have so many disrespectful comments. Some areas have more money than others and can afford better equipment. There are still many fire fighters across the country that risk there lives for free. If any of you think you can

do a better job by all means prove it! Be thankful to fire fighters, they risk there lives everyday to protect you!

  • @xaviervonrottie I know, have noticed this as well, we have a nearby volunteer department that still has their perfectly running late 50's early 60's pumper, with original rubber no less, and it runs and responds like a dream. The volunteers are actually very proud of that unit.

  • Woulda been no more Frftr72 if that 2nd one would have took a wider turn...

  • @coolsax64

Actually, the guys are wearing Brush Gear, the turnout was on the back because the gear washer is behind the truck and someone hung it there and forgot about it. Both jeeps have standard lap belts as any other jeep in those years of manufacture.

  • At 0:36 it sounds like a vuvuzela horn.. Anyways, sweet jeeps but how are they considred brush units? Do they have a tank or tools or is it just to transport firefighters?

  • Dude jeeps kick ass.

  • Are these appliances still in service?

  • This is my new favorite station. Just because of the fact that there are fire jeeps and they can make a small jeep convoy. The day there is a jeep tiller truck, I think i could die happy..lol

  • i have never seen jeep brush trucks like that

  • lol coat hanging on the back of the second jeep

  • thats cool they are jeeps

  • Thats actually kind of an old truck. have u seen the brushtrucks of today?

  • Old CJ's are how we do it in Berks. Anything bigger would have a hard time getting through the woods. Plus, they're badass.

  • Hear, hear!

  • as long as ya dont flip over, and use due regard... which basically means dont hit noone and yer fine. lol.

  • i wanan drive the first jeep

  • Watch "Q siren in my Jeep 2" and read the responses. This guy had only one battery in his CJ-7 and his Q sounds quite healthy. Maybe it can give you some ideas in case you might have a Q siren sitting around somewhere.

  • Those are definately classic sirens!

  • that's because you had to clean your shorts after the second one just about took your nuts off!!

  • Did the turn out coat stay on the back the whole way, or did it fly off?

  • It actually made it the whole way. I didn't even notice it until I uploaded the video.

  • @Frftr72 WTF? Turnouts on a grass fire? And is there seat belts in those Jeeps? Cmon guy's. stay safe...

  • @Frftr72 You did not notice it at the scene?

  • Good eye!
