I'm against religion in general, but I also have many hobbies. I'm a gamer (tabletop, board, and video [mostly RPG style]), I act (usually internet stuff, but I'm really excited about this TV pilot I'm going to be in [fingers crossed that it gets picked up]), I write (mostly short stories involving time travel and/or superheroes and sketches). I try to learn as much as possible. I recently took up swimming (I'm really out of shape though lol). I'm an avid reader, I love comedy, etc.
@MaxWilder Homo erectus does not prove evolution nor any other fossils that might resemble humans. In fact since the whole thing took place millions of years ago actually makes it impossible to prove since it cannot be observed today.
If it cannot be definitively proven then It is still open to belief.
@Gaaminator Contrary to your beliefs on evolution, we can and have tracked genetic changes in species and can show time lines of additions, changes, and even mistakes in genetic coding that continues into later generations. Like our need to consume vitamin C comes from a mistake apes and ourselves share because of a tracked change in our DNA. Add that with fossil records and other visual changes in creatures we see to day, and evolution is quite easily viewed today. Open your mind and see.
@Darklust413 you mean a line of additions that we made up based on our observations. just because two things are similar definatly does not mean they came from each other.
@Gaaminator If you honestly don't believe evolution to be fact, you're blinding yourself. It's an absolute FACT. Those observations are commonly observed with both our eyes and through dna by mapping the genome. Adding in all the rest, you just can't say it doesn't happen. Is your real problem with abiogenesis and where the initial spark of life came from? If so, that's not evolution and you need to not equate the two as the same thing.
@Darklust413 Abiogenesis is also a fact, seeing as this process has already been recreated numerous times in labs. (I am specifically talking about the amino acids and other stuff creating life)
@88gertjan88 I knew that. It's just easier to debate the evolution point and enlighten people on the fact that the two aren't the same thing because that's a fairly common misconception that throws up big walls towards people allowing themselves to understand that evolution is a fact. Too often you hear arguments that are like this "so you're saying we came from nothing?" and wanted to hit that up front.
Just so you know, one of the books you flashed across the screen was a book called "Misquoting Jesus", a book that has been highly refuted by almost all major scholars in the fields related to Jesus.
LOL religion is stupid you can beleave in God your way no one knows the right way
So will just have to see who ends up in hell of heaven lol Christianity is about being free, and being with God not following sht load of rules like specific clothe or who you hangout with.
You know Christianity must be hard, especially when this belief DEMANDS righteousness, holiness, and godliness...which of course if you do not want to be acquainted, because it's not easy. Sin is much easier, but why cause others to fall in sin with you?...but it must be like that saying, "if I go, then I'm taking you with me."

First off,the evidence does not show naturalistic causes for our universe and all its' inhabitants,it shows design. All I've seen on this smear video is arguments from authority and not from the evidence,no,but from a commitment to keeping a DEVINE foot out of the door at all costs.
Jesus even tell us many will say at their sentencing,"Lord, lord haven't we done all these good things in your name and he'll say I NEVER KNEW YOU!,notice He didn't say,I used to know you but you ran away. This is the problem with a man centered gospel, one that teaches salvation is through man's accomplishment instead of a100% move of God,by His Grace and good purpose alone.
There is no evidence for the existence of a Jesus of Nazareth at all and in fact there is a great deal of evidence against there ever being such a person.
@CelticAlphabet there is in roman history a report of a man named Jesus who was put on trial and his sentence was to be put on the cross. Real detailed account from a roman soldier, chek out creationontheweb-com
The name Jesus itself was a fairly common name during that age, so finding one that was executed would not be a challenge. Although the sources listed by the website you linked are highly suspect. Along with what looks like a large portion of the website.
Many of the facts such as the article on Venter's work are misleading of the facts and make make many presuppositions that do not actually work/exist.
@CVcivilrights Historians Philo, Josephus, and Justus of Tiberius all lived in the setting into which ancient allegorists placed Jesus. Their exhaustive accounts do not mention any fiction depicted in the bible. No magic star with Herodian infanticide accompanying Jesus' birth. No miracles. No earthquake, darkness, or living dead at crucifixion. No resurrection. Nothing. However, they do describe local officials, musicians, and other influential people who DID exist in the region at that time

People don't choose God or Choose to leave Him,God either saves a person or they don't get saved.Jesus said "I chose you,you didn't choose me." If we are Christians,it is because God chose a finite number before time to save,on the other hand, there are also a finte number who won't be saved.
Evidence has to be objective and testable and there is no such thing as a objective or testable supernatural thing and by definition cannot be evidence of supernatural because the supernatural contradicts all natural laws.
Evid3nc3 you are awesome and need to keep making your deconversion videos.
I noticed something interesting about the verbs VFX was using: teach, proclaim, etc. All from a position of authority, with no room for questioning. How very different from my biology education, which gave us no easy answers and forced us to discover truth on our own.
How liberating, to no longer rely on a pastor for truths about the universe.
Venomfangx has a real problem with the logic of the world. Trying to answer the big questions of the universe with one book and sit on our hands and accept it. Thats humanity in chains. While real logic says we have to keep asking questions and keep looking for answers. Thats humanity at its best.
Wait... you mean by thinking from a position of Rationality I can no longer storm into lands I declare 'Promised' to me and slaughter entire populations except for the hot chicks which I force into sexual slavery? Are you trying to convince me to give up my conviction that a big bearded wrinkly penis-wielding angry white ghost in the sky is going to slaughter billions and then torture their 'souls' for eternity!?! Give up my 'MANSION'!?! My STREETS OF GOLD!?! Okay! Count me in!
In one quick step dance movement VFX goes from atheists wanting to discourage Christians from being Christians to Satan wanting you to not be a Christian, in an attempt to associate atheists with the big boogie man Satan. Not only that; most atheists are live and let live; we don't care if you're Christian as long as you leave us alone.
other than ijustine can you tell me what a youtube career is?

Modern science would not exist with out the influence of Christianity, learn history.

@Gaaminator Possibly. And humans wouldn't exist without homo erectus. We've grown beyond them. Now it's time to grow beyond religion.

Evid3nc3 is awesome, anyway I have a few things to add:
- No atheist will ask for your money, come to your door, or guilt you into going to a building.
- nobody has to "believe" in any scientific book, if it's science you can be sure of it.
- There are a few "holy books" out there, there are countless on whatever interests you in this world.

Oh so its predetermined who gets chosen or not? Thats a violation of the supposed "free-will" that gawd endowed us with.
Meaning your arguments are full of contradicted and cannot be supported by either logic or evidence.
You Fail.
