How are you? Yes, i totally agree with you. I feel that Cathay's film is more modern( i mean able to reflect that speicfic era of Hk nicely). It is also more story telling (better scripts...etc )-more dedicated to making good films. Too bad it is no longer in film business.....

It's a pity Loke Wan-tho (陸運濤), the life and soul of Cathay, died in the mid-1960s. Otherwise, there must have been many more nice and interesting films out in that era. Sigh.

yes...i agree, if Mr. Loke did not pass away in that plane accident, the HK film industries history will be different, and all audiences will benefit by both Cathy and SB's competetion to produce better and better films
