i am going to be honest, as an absolute diehard rush fan, the greatest band ever, i can just see geddy lee wanting everyone to forget about this song and most of the album (except for Working Man, Finding My Way), I mean, "I just want to rock and roll you woman", that could only mean the big "S"
I love both before and after-Peart Rush, this is great! But we got to appreciate that only with the arrival of Peart did they develop a UNIQUE AND DISTINCT --and too complex for many people-- style of music and that's why they succeeded. Before that, they were a cool-sounding rock band like so many others, with a very "generic" sound so to speak!
@2112in2012 John R. is/was a very good drummer, but had to retire due to health issues. I would never wish that on anyone, but having NP join was an amazing bit of luck. I hope he felt good about being replaced by one of the greatest drummers in history.
The one that started it all!!!! Thank God for Rush. They got me through my first tour in Germany, during the mid-late 70's. Still addicted to that RUSH.
@PaBasser I celebrated today too lol. Listened to them for a few hours while working. I need to start listening to them as much as I used to. I seriously used to listen for a minimum of 6 hours a day lol.
@TheZPCI i know he isnt the drummer. If he was the drummer his style wouldnt really fit in this simple song because he likes to do drum solo throughout every song. Hes not a bad drummer, obviously.
I got interested in Rush back in July when hearing the song "Working Man". Afterwards I went out and bought this album and 2112. I now own a copy of all 18 (soon to be 19) studio albums of Rush, and although I prefer some of their other work over this album, I will always remember it as the album that got me started. (PS: RIP John Rutsey!)
i did'nt mean to disparage rush but skynyrd and rush were two of the greatest bands back in the day they both came from the same era . rush are lucky that three members still survive the original drummer died recently rip. skynyrd has been thru many line up changes but still keep on rocking. thats called character. many members have passed. beginning with the plane crash in 78. rip ronnie van zant. rush is on tour as i speak keep on rocking
About that Cowbell comment... Cowbell is cool, and it has its place. It is not funny. Tired of hearing that stupid cowbell joke.

Hey guys, we're a group of upcoming 16 and 17 year olds who are trying to make a name for ourselves.
We would love it if you could like this comment to help more people see us!
We are located in New York and regularly play modern/classic/progressive music in the form of covers and originals.
A few of the bands that we generally cover include RUSH, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Incubus.
Please take a few minutes and listen to some of our videos, it would mean the world to us!
