To think they were so sensationally and breathlessly incedible already from the start... Makes me just shake my head and just watch silently, eyes just starring at this band they call Earth, Wind & Fire. Thank you God for ceating these people.
@freein2339....I saw EW&F around the same time at Constitution Hall in Washington DC along with Tower of Power and the Four Tops....awesome show...was one of the few whites at the show...but who cared...no one...that hall reeked of weed...and I was one of the smokers....awesome show...one of the most awesome jams for me was "Power"....I went out immediately and bought the "album" as they were called in those days....Love EW&F...
I saw EWF in 75 and there were whites folks at the concert but only about 5-10% of the audience was white...The place ( Spectrum in Philly) was sold out and the show was great....
It was 1975. Talk to your parents or grandparents about what that short statement means. You'll understand why whites were shown more often. However, this is a very short clip shown over & over. There were a few more pans (although not many). But, did you pay attention to the actual music?
@klwewf the music is definitely cool but PART OF THE REASON for VISUAL images is so that we can also view & share the experience of the artists we like and enjoy. but i see your point about it being 1975
thank you for this video

Isn't a very young Harvey Keitel walkin' around???
Rasmarker 2 years ago
Rasmarker----------yes
part of this is footage from the 1974 Movie "THATS THE WAY OF THE WORLD".
Keitel played a record company employee and E,W & F was 1 of the bands trying to secure a contract...
Of course the soundtrack was fire and did well but the movie didnt do good..
It was out of print forever but someone has posted that you can purchase the movie on the E,W & F official website.
another poster claims that he has purchased the movie elsewhere.
