  • Delightful - as is the BBC video linked to on your website

  • cute..not the dungpile.i like the way it seems to wander round the back of peoples gardens.

  • Delightful NG action! I particularly love the not-too-pretty trackwork! Looks like a real working tramway

  • Ah yes, the good old Tottering and East Dungpile... fond memories.

    8-P

  • Excellent, steady video.

Rather than wasting expensive fuel and making pollution, I would be PUSHING the cars and getting free exercise!

    Looks like much fun!

  • So glad smellivision doesn't exist yet..

  • VIDEO THE STEAM LOCOMOTIVE.

Most of this was the Diesel.

    And why not one whistle?

  • @robertgift

If you put in 'Darent at Bredgar' you will see more of the steam loco and plenty of whistle.

  • this line is near eynsford in southern england, some friends and myself took one of our locos to it some years ago and one of our group majorly re-shaped the gate at the end of the line. which i have to add was hysterical at the time.

  • ELR means East Lancs Railway to me. Where is this line please?

  • You can find a few more clips of this line by clicking my name.

There will be lots more when I get round to uploading them showing the extending of the line.

  • y do tip out muck please relpy

  • The muck is from the stables, we have skips that have to be emptied on a regular basis.

  • What's the name of this railway?

  • that's SOOOO COOL EEEE!!!!!

  • I think the steam loco is an ex Provan gas works Barclay, regauged from 2'6" and with a saddle tank added, can't help you with a location though. Nice little line though.

  • Fantastic video! Please please tell us where it is! I would love to pay it a visit!

  • Great! This is what narrow-gauge is all about - industry and muck!!!

  • That sideways Simplex reminds me of the Rye and Camber. Are you sure you didn't pinch their old loco? ;-)

  • wow, that must be really fun :3

  • What was the steam loco I wonder?

  • Very Cool were is this?

  • brilliant bit of film! Any more where that came from?

  • What a gem of a film

    Andrew

  • That's proper narrow gauge! The "putt, putt, putt" of the simplex, squealing flanges on tight curves, it doesn't get much better than that for me. Well done!

  • A man after my own heart!

    Absolutely, brilliant video!
