the coal and grain can come at any time. I've seen 847 at 2100 and at 1100. I've seen 846 at 2100 and the middle of the afternoon. 74, 91, 351, and 352 are at night. 350 can be pretty early. F742 can come pretty late, I've heard him at 0030.

this actually isn't the waffle house parking lot, I'm behind a small shops complex with bars, restaurants, and a Ben & Jerry's...it has a big parking lot that goes right up to the tracks. Waffle House is just west of me, but some engineers call the signals "waffle house." no one ever says anything to me, although I bet some notice that I'm there weekly
