I think this was recorded for the movie "Penny Seranade" with Cary Grant in the 40's. Has to be up there with the most beautiful pieces ever written. This and "Clair De Lune" are my favorities. Evokes beautiful memories of times gone by..

Kenny Rankin did a beautiful vocal version on his 1980 album After the Roses. (This instrumental version is lovely too).
