I can see that rain man can't quite outplay his opponents in these three matches against M5, the only game he performed well is the second one, and that's because of the early advantage. I am not saying rain man is a bad player, but honestly he could try harder. He just needs to play a little more aggressive, backing out all the time only gets free damage. Just my opinion!

Sona is the #1 champ! Irelia lost the game for both M5 and TSM because she can't farm, tsm didn't realize how bad of a pick it was for m5 in the second game. Personally I would of counter-bought Shyvana and Gangplank, and maybe ban Riven, just to piss them off :)

@dan16000 irelia has never been made to push, she is a safe sustained laner that is especially hard to snowball against. I think they picked irelia 2nd game to prevent any possible trynd snowballing, 3rd game to hold down the havoc-wrecking shyvana. There may be other schemes but that s all i can think of.

I think Karthus and Irelia were the bad picks that lead them down. Karthus doesn't do much damage compared to Cass (non ult) and you can't be too aggro...
League of Legends has nearly infinite number of strategies, counter-strategies, and team comps. As a pro it is their fault for not knowing an individual champion's strength but that doesn't mean they are lacking anything or out of the loop. The world has seen this strat now, and pro teams everywhere will have a counter soon enough. Including the US

Teams like TSM and CLG play with a distinct disadvantage in that they constantly stream their matches and there is plenty of videos of their gameplay styles ALL OVER. They picked Irelia last pick and it cost them a ton, and Chaos emphasizes several times how they need to adapt better. It's not like the Shyvana pick was any secret.
M5 played an excellent game, albeit not so much the second round. A lot of people like to capitalize on the US "falling behind" in the current scheme of LoL competition when teams from other countries come out to win it their first time around. M5 was no different than any other team in that they worked their asses off to get to this point and took advantage of the constant game play footage TSM supplies. The US teams are just as adaptive and good as the best EU teams.
I feel if Reginald had landed his wall at 9:57 on the Shyvana that the game may have turned out a lot different. If say, Lee Sin or Irelia killed Shyvana there, they may have been able to control her counter-jungling.
M5 is just legit fun to watch. It gets really boring watching slightly better creep score win games. M5 brings back aggression and balls to league. Good Job!

It's all a matter of reaction in terms of how "aggressive" a team is viewed. An impressive performance by M5. Excessive counter jungling, AD Kennen, and Mordekaiser being in a professional match in general is really an eye-opener.
In my opinion, it was RainMan's fault TSM lost. He picked Irelia in the first game and Shyvana got them counterjungled, what basically ruined their game. Then, the picked Tryndamere, to push the lane and avoid the counterjungle, which worked. But in the last game, he picked Irelia again, and Shyvana got them counterjungled again. I don't know what they were thinking about.

If you watch game two its easy to see that the threat of a farmed tryndamere kept darien top. so tsm in game three see darien pick his infamous shyvana counter jungler... and pick rainman's worst champion? irelia isn't a threat early, mid, or late game, so darien simply pushed and stole, pushed and stole. rainman didn't even attempt to curb the thief. altogether a terrible job by tsm in the champ select stage of the game that lost them the game. Regi on karth was not bad, the counter darien. bad

@Shyhalu The time it takes @IntelExtremeMasters to upload their VoDs is a function of their business running the tournament and does not depend on their feelings. There is nothing self-righteous or hypocritical about disagreeing with hurting the people that produce the content you love.

In my opinion, it was RainMan's fault TSM lost. He picked Irelia in the first game and Shyvana got them counterjungled, what basically ruined their game. Then, the picked Tryndamere, to push the lane and avoid the counterjungle, which worked. But in the last game, he picked Irelia again, and Shyvana got them counterjungled again. I don't know what they were thinking about.

@Lithen11 i don't think its the "threat" so much as its the ability to clear minion waves. Tryndamere can clear quickly, irelia cant clear waves fast enough to keep up with shyvana in top. Not his skill on champion, just outpicked.

If you watch game two its easy to see that the threat of a farmed tryndamere kept darien top. so tsm in game three see darien pick his infamous shyvana counter jungler... and pick rainman's worst champion? irelia isn't a threat early, mid, or late game, so darien simply pushed and stole, pushed and stole. rainman didn't even attempt to curb the thief. altogether a terrible job by tsm in the champ select stage of the game that lost them the game. Regi on karth was not bad, the counter darien. bad
