Well it happened in Greece. I was serving in the north-eastern frontier line and there are all sorts of units there including of course tanks. One night a soldier on an evening allowance had been kicked out of a local club, he got so pissed that he returned to the camp sneaked in the hangar took out the first tank he found fuelled (I think it was a Leopard) and drove it to the outskirts of the local town reaching outside the club threatening to enter in (or over) it!!!.. before being arrested.

Yes, I am a US citizen. I am also a veteran.
I train in firearm safety, handling, tactics and hitting the target. I am safe, therefore so are my firearms. I carry for self defense, hunting and sport. I am not a criminal.
I have no issues at all with law abiding citizens owning firearms in fact I insist people carry their guns for protection. I have issues with our gun control laws, they have already proven they only impact my and other law abiding citizens ability to protect ourselves.

You see just as much as guns here as you do in bad cities in UK. I've never seen a person other than an officer carry a gun in public and I have lived here all my life. During my visit to Manchester and other cities, I saw a stick carved like a spear, a hand gun, and a pellet gun colored like a hand gun. I was only there for 14 days.

You're stupid to base that on a number. You have to realize, if there's 3 gay people out of every 10 people, you can line up 10 people and all 10 can be straight. Because we have more people, death is obviously going to be higher. Statistics can be right, but that doesn't mean you'll die in America easier than in UK. However, America has some horrible places. Just like everywhere else.

ill say it again. 28 times as many deaths as UK PER 100000 people. american has 14 deaths per 100000 people that are related to guns. thats almost 43000 deaths per year from guns. UK has 0.5 deaths per 100000 people relating to guns. that is 305 deaths by guns each year.
now let me see, 43000 / 305. that equals 140. Does america have 140 times as many people as uk. no.

Speaking of not understanding, here I go again. If America had the same amount of people, we wouldn't have that many deaths. Sure, we'd probably have more than UK, but still not as much. Why? Because there isn't so many people. Do you think if there's 100000 people in the room, there will, without a doubt, be 14 dead if they all had guns? You're following statics and lack common sense. Also, the more populated the place is, the more likely to have crime/violence.

no, im sorry but the problem is your gun laws. thats why. thats is a ratio. an average. if we go by what your saying. then why doesnt india have 50 million deaths per guns each year? india has 1 death per 100000. they have 1.2 billion people in their country. thats gives them 12000 deaths per year from guns, under a third of americas, yet they have 4 times as many people, and in a much smaller area, your theory just went out the window mate. by the way, im not a brit, hahaha

My theory didn't 'go out the window'. India has a death rate of 6-10 people per 1000 people, guns or not, it's not much better than America. India has a horrible record of violence, especially against women and Christians. And hopefully you know their government isn't exactly the best. People get killed there daily and no-one reports it. And UK has a death rate higher than America by at least 3 more people per 1000. Isn't that funny? Especially since we can own guns.

population density has a lot to do with violence. the guns are not the problem , the lack of education is the problem. look at Finland, they have guns 30 guns for every 100 people yet they are peaceful.
i'm not pro guns , but i'm a strong believer in education.
