the rims are nice man, but i think maybe if you find some shorter ones for the front, make it sit mean. like its ready to pounce on everything. like mine, i got 18x8's in the back, and 15x7's in the front. she just looks ready to jump at the road ahead.

@103quick well a car with 13' wheels will be slow cause the engine has to spin faster to make them cover the same ground a 18 would and a 26' set of wheels make the engine work harder to turn them yes being bigger they cover more ground but the size adds weight and when talking high performance weight is bad which is why when the guys with the donks take the back wheels off and put stock 18s on the car will do donuts and burnouts easier size is good but you can have to much of a good thing

wheels and exhaust tips are too modern for my tastes, but the car is gorgeous otherwise. it also seems to be riding really high. my caprice was way lower than that on stock springs and larger diameter wheel/tire combo

I just took the vinyl top off of mine and I had paint paint under it....But you will have to prep The C pillars because it seem like it was welded right there from the factory but thats easy to do....

Beautiful, simple, NOT OVERDONE!! The only problem I can see is that over time you will have issues with that vinyl top. Moisture ALWAYS finds its way under there and then rust, followed by body rot. I'd change it myself. Painted metal holds up the best. sincerely, JAMES.

Hey there tp. Yes I hate them as well. Cars that look like Tijuanna Taxis should stay there - not here. But in some communities we have cultural diversities and to that I say - to each his own - just don't expect me to like them. I'm 53 and a baby boomer who grew up with classic American cars. damn good sounding car. my buddy recently had that he built himself a 79 caprice with a 350 that has almost 500 hp with a jasper raceing transmission. the rear end was stock but we liked the higher gears because it gave the car surprisingly good gas mileage on the highway. we never had enough balls to top it out. the fastest we dared to go was 140.

i used to have an 83 caprice 4 door that was silver with metal flake. it had a red interior that was kinda like velvet. the engine was a 305. i needed a truck and couldnt have both so i sold the car. my buddies cam took the brake pressure and every time it loped the car lurched and it pulled us out into a busy inersecion so he had to mash down on the gas to get through so we wouldnt get hit lol. so he put a vaccum tank on it and a 2000rpm stall. the carb was a holly 850cfm double pumper.

Wow, that may be the best caprice classic i've ever seen and heard! One accesory that would be nice is a set of clear corner lenses on the front. The tinted windows really sets it off and its sitting right.
