For those who think it was written in 1988, they are right, it was written somewhere in between july and september. In this same period billy wrote spiteface which kind of sounds similar, they both are goth metal songs. By that period of time theres a song called Streetlight that is great as well. Anyway this version was recorded in the all of 1989 in the reel studios sessions with Mark Ignoffo.

'sun' is a pre-gish era song written somewhere between '88-'89. what's posted here is most likely a demo, possibly recorded for the remix version produced by quentin sanbria.

if you can manage to track down a copy of the bootleg 'pumpkin seeds,' you can hear this remix in all its glory. the latter 5 tracks, with the exception of 'she,' have an eastern sound, almost like the raga feel in parts of rhinoceros. moreover, track 7 on pumpkins seeds is called 'east.'

"The collection" is some of the SP-songs I thought were missing on YouTube. It's not an obscure compilation, it's just old recordings that I believe haven't got enough attention.

A few of these songs are marked "abandoned". This means only that Billy or someone else screwed up so they couldn't finish the song.

Also, I like to sneak around the corner and look at what songs exist more than Zero and Bullet, if you know what I mean.
