I actually just stumbled upon a Washburn Dime signature today at a local pawn shop. It had lighning on it like the original Deans had but it also had striped on it but it only changed the brightness of the colors. It played like a champ though the Floyd Rose wasn't a double-locking tremolo system. I wish I could've got it but it's $1200 and the guy working there said he might go to EBay to get it sold so I would check it out there really soon if you want a piece of Dime's history.

@novanine9 The Washburn is better in probably every category. Only thing is, its really tough to find one, especially the 3ST (which will be REALLY expensive), and if you do its most likely going to have chips and dings on it. I bet you can find a pretty nice 2ST in good condition for around 600 bucks on ebay. There's usually 5 or 6 a month on ebay

what is the difference between this and the washburn model?

I've seen 2 different ones...dean and washburns

@novanine9 The Washburns come in two models that look like this. The 2ST and the 3ST. They aren't made anymore. They come with Floyd Roses and the 2ST has washburn pickups and a set neck while the 3ST has Dime's pickups. The Washburn Models also have different headstocks. There's a lot differnet and they're actually way better than the Dean. Both models are. Get a Washy if you can get your hands on one. The 2STs have balance issue though. Easy fix

@TCRos15 actually the 2ST's have a bolt on neck, washburn pickups, have a licensed floyd rose, and they are made in Korea (or some other country), while the 3ST's like you said have Dime's pickups, are USA custom shops, have the set neck, and an original floyd. theres just a little more clarifacation

Yeah I agree. The Stealth was the best lookig guitar i ever owned. 10 for looks. 2 for playing. I had no idea that Finland didnt have Ebay. But yeah you'd find Washburns there. Theres a mint Washburn 2ST which is EXACTLY what you want for about 400 USD right now

Well Yeah I totally agree. I'd much rather have Washburn St-Pro for about the same price used. But This guitar only cost me 630 bucks new as opposed to a used, usually chipped, 2st for at least 800 or something. I didnt know this guitar was shit before i bought it

seriously, dont. It was AWESOME but had some serious quality control issues. It has bad balace, bad paint, and just feels overall light and cheap. But its AWESOME either way. Not worth the cash.
