@hotstuffohyea The whole premise of the show is that Howard needs to be this asshole of a guy with no real emotions, and that tells people off, but at the same time tries to be a real person that can relate to you and I, outside the radio, that's the magic. For a lot of people that can be very confusing, like yourself, thinking he's this way all the time. It's just an act, from his part, but the rest of the people working for him can't act it up, so Howard is the show, Robin dies and it goes on.

Nine times out of ten, whenever Ed comes in to give the polygraph he asks, "Is today Thursday?" How bizarre is that!? Check old footage, you'll see. One time it was a Wednesday but every other time I've seen, it's always been a Thursday.

Before taking an accurate test, they have to ask the person taking the test a lot of simple questions to calibrate the machine.
