  • I agree with gmd1417. This is cheesy and commercialism in the worst degree! One other thing, if you call it Sgt. Pepper live please don't start out with Eleanor Rigby. Stay true to the album you idiots!

  • Why is this all CUT UP ! Whats the point ! Show the Whole Song ! not bits !

  • At 1:48...NORM!!

  • At 4:30, Robin is singing just as loud, without moving his mouth or using a microphone.

  • awesome stuff man

  • THIS IS ABOUT AS CHEESY AS IT GETS, JOHN LENNON AND GEORGE HARRISON ARE PROBABLY ROLLING OVER IN THEIR GRAVES WITH EMBARRASSMENT. IT'S EVERYTHING THEY EVER HATED

  • @WaggunTin Not sure what you're seeing, but Tom Petersson is playing his T-Bird right handed throughout the entire video...

  • I think the way the Beatles did it is still best.

  • it's great to see the Beatles being honored in such a magical city, like Las Vegas! they deserve it for what they gave to music & pop culture as a whole! their influence is so widespread, it's immeasurable! Cheap Trick, esp. Rick Nieson, were huge Beatle fans!

  • Sorry I just thought you said that Ringo Starr was a better drummer than Bun E. Carlos...

Ringo wasn't even the best drummer in The Beatles...

  • Ringo never played it live!

  • Ha! at least Ringo cud keep a beat in 'a day in the life'....it got faster!! pro musicians my arse!

  • The song with orchestra is Eleanor Rigby and the one with Guitar is Across the Universe, the girl singing is Can't Buy Me Love etc. they're all Beatles song that they covered up.

  • i met cheap trick a week ago at a meet and greet.

They are just normal funny guys but bun'e (drummer) wasn't there. :(

  • I guess Tom Petersson couldn't find a way to incorporate his signature 12-string bass into any of the songs, could he?

  • @Mikemaniax He played a 12 string beautiful black bass with rhinestones it was very pretty

  • @bobbconner1 On what song?

  • long and winding road always makes me tear up.

  • September 18th was the last night Cheap Trick played at the Paris Hotel and Casino. The show rivaled any concert I had attended in a long time. The show was great and should be a mainstay in Las Vegas. The energy with the band had the crowd out of thier seats. A must see show while in Las Vegas.

  • Mach Shau boys and girls!

  • After watching this video..I wish I could go to the Vegas shows this year. I noticed 8:53 into this video, when it turns into a split screen, Robin walks over to the side of the stage and kisses a blonde-headed lady. Is that his wife, Pamela (Stein) Zander? She's very nice looking. Love the red and purple jackets Tom wears in this video..yum..yum..

  • Are you kidding me? Cheap Trick don't show up in this video until 4:18 When the first words in your title are Cheap Trick...they should be the first thing in your video.

  • fantastic

  • I was right behind the girl Robin hugged (at the end) and that confetti cannon nearly blew my eardrum out! I still have a couple of the tissue hearts.

    I love Cheap Trick!

  • Saw this for the 50th anniv of Sgt Peppers at the Hollywood Bowl...then again for the 51st....wish I could've made the Vegas show!!!!!!!! AWESOME does not begin to cover it. Cheap Trick RULES (always has, always will)!

  • 50th anniv? It came out in 1967.

Still looks like you got to see a great show (shows), what ever the anniversary was. Wish I could have been there.

  • @JackNCokeIV I guess you're a time traveler.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! We took four flights to make this show and it was utterly worth it. It was special indeed. I concur with the poster below re the impossibility of really capturing it in video (though the NY DVD is fantastic!). It was all this and so much more. Thank you again.

  • How flippin' cool is this? LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

  • Has a glitter jacket ever looked better :). Robin and Ian both rock!

  • I was there on opening night, it was more incredible than this video could ever show. The energy was so high, it gave me a chill when the orchestra played 4 instrumental beatles songs. Hope they do a DVD of the Vegas Shows.

  • I love that the orchestra is clapping when Cheap Trick comes on.

  • Saw it on the 2nd night of the 9 night run....3rd row, dead center. It was, in my opinion THE highlight of my Las Vegas trip this year. (I wanted to get tickets for another night, but my wife was having none of that, stating we'd never get those good seats on short notice, and I would be disappointed.....She's always right).
