  • I understand that this applies mostly to corporate businesses but my question relates to being a leader in College classroom activities. I know from the few times I was allowed to be a leader that I am a damn good one. My trouble lies in establishing yourself as a leader. In my experience, the people who are loud and create a barely convincing image that they know what they are doing always feel entitled to be the group leader. How can one establish a leadership role?

  • I am afraid trust in these days too often spells N A I V E T Y ...

  • Because some leaders act not a leader. Umaarti silang boss, sobrang bossy, ayaw makinig sa iba, they want their ideas will pursue.

  • Very insightful and worthwhile 7 1/2 minutes indeed.

  • it is very informative in short time.

  • Let's seperate Religion from leadership .... :)

  • @Yogimeisters let's separate religion from EVERYTHING

  • Humanity Rulez ! Dharma & Maya :)

  • "the biggest mistake is breaking trust." what would you say about Jack Welch's vitality curve? Jack Welch stated himself he didn't believe in loyalty but his company flourished and profits increased dramatically. If the biggest mistake was breaking trust then wouldn't his company have faltered?

  • @tricky415 ..but I'd be willing to bet that it's easier to achieve with a team behind you that trust you.

  • @chrissimples yeah apparently for Jack Welch it wasn't his primary concern. He was more concerned with having the top workers and firing the rest. This type of management seems ruthless but it worked in his situation as his company flourished. He was a great leader for the investors of the company, and that is the primary purpose of the company to increase profits for shareholders. This is exactly what Welch has done so how can we state that breaking trust is a leader's biggest mistake.

  • Profound.

  • Great clip!

  • I love what Daisy Wademan Dowling said about a leader, i agree 100%.

  • Can someone help me by writing exactly what he said at 6:13 - 6:19 ??

  • @iRbonnie

"The two biggest mistakes are: Not being authentic and consistant and predictable and being all about you and not something bigger than yourself"

  • Great video,very worthwhile thanxxxx...

  • Good video. Keep doing it.

  • The Biggest Mistake a Leader Can Make is to become a coward!

  • @boqallaf The biggest mistake a Leader can make is not cowardice.

Cowards have the option of returning another day.

The biggest mistake a leader can make is to snatch foolishly at a worthless victory, bravery adds irony.

Fools take bait; claim great bargain because it's shiny.

I suggest, when invisible guiding hands point direction.one should inquire whether such hands are connected to an invisible brain. or at least check a map.

If wel don't put back more than we take, it isn't actual growth.

  • @boqallaf

courage is not a value in the real world.

  • Great video
