DarthDemetrius, this series has been wonderful, and I'm so pleased that you decided to post the videos of these two boys.
Yes, they should have won, for they are incredible. But they have something wonderful for the future, talent.

I think the denial of the jury man was probably due to some strategy to increase audience. It was obvious that the boys should get through to the final.

Some info about the rules in the final. Only 18 participants were allowed to perfom in final. The judges will pick out only 6 of them. TV-audience voting will choose from these 6 people only 1 winner who will get the prize of one million rubles (it is about $35000).
Today evening they showed the performance of the first 9 finalists (but there was not Kalutskikh bros. performance). They will perform tomorrow evening.

You know, if that judge didnt change his mind, he would've been in grave danger from pissed off audience. Clearly these boys are phenominal. Way to go - such an inspiration!

Every show like this has a judge like him; American Idol has Simon Cowell who critisizes at every turn. In the end, the audience votes, so what does it matter? Bravo to the Brothers Kalutskikh!

In the half final a participant is not being subjected to voting unless all 3 judges say "Yes". So in this case the role of every judge is considerable.

Finally the brothers was allowed to the TV-audience voting for final tour. And I'm sure that they will get the top number of votes again and will pass to the final.

Despite the events that we can see in this video, the situation turned to be lucky. At the very end of the program the judge who said "No" changed his opinion.
He announced the following: "I'm sorry that I failed those two boys. Now after seeing all today's performances I understood that I was unreasonably cruel. I'm very sorry about this. So let them pass to the final!"

Personally, I think he needs glasses. It's obvious the brothers were the ones to set the bar for artistry in this competition and everyone, except him, can see that. Perhaps he was trying to liven things up a bit in the competition, since the boys have such a great lead over the rest in points.
I can't wait to see what happens next...
