Oh i always wanted to see this game......looks weird tougth, i wish they make a new and better game (like the PS 1 one) but still i want this game!!!!
The only thing he really does is punch in the early part of the game. he punches everything, monsters, dinosaurs, he lays them down flat with just his fists, punch punch punch. later part of the game you can use fireballs. But overall, this game is very VERY frustrating. you don't get to see monster blood and guts, But i'm just happy this game exists. :)
actually i had an idea of an 8 bitviolence jack game that is like last battle or super mario as it would be pick up and play. it would follow the manga and you would go from one part of the screen to the other and kill everyone. there would be simple controls and the bosses would be like mad saulus, the kibara on his elephant and others. also the gore and stuff would be 8bit so when you chop up blue its just red and white pixels flying so it wouldnt be too offensive lol.
That would be great, I'm surprised there never was a violence jack video game. It would've been fun chopping up people. Pixelated blood and gore can be fun too. lol.
i still thinjk it isnt too late to try something. they make cr*ppy flash games on all these websites so by logic, an 8 bit game wouldnt be too hard to do. all we need is nerds who we can give the Vjack manga to. my original idea was a final classic game like chaplin's "city of lights" was to silent films as it would bring back the "pick up and play" back to video games and getting beyond save files and tutorials and 25 button combos and having a sonic or mario feel.
This particular devilman game is kind of really tough, i wish they spent more time making it. You're right, the games of old were made with a lot more heart than the games today. They were very simple and at the same time tough to master. They really captured one's imagination.
woew they gave miki-chan a rather large chest. its bigger than kekko kamen and iron virgin jun's busts combined. go nagai alweays seemed more into curvy buns than big busts like in cutey honey and devilman lady but in an interview he said he based the chests off the venus de milo. also can you post more of the game? i liked 8bit 80s games and devilman (even making an aridged series about it lol) and ive read the manga and even got the ova ost on my comp. oh and i made the go nagai wiki xD

This game is absolutely Horrible!, you don't feel like devilman, you just feel like a kid in a gorilla suit.
u can use fireballs later in the game but they're even worse.
