hm... sounds more like Debussy + Gershwin than Bach + Rachmaninoff.

Yeah this is probably because I currently have a select group of pieces I use as a "warm up" before composing (which includes Clair de Lune / Rhapsody in Blue / Rach 2 / Goldberg Variations among others).

Also note that I'm using an evolution of the compositional techniques of Rachmaninoff and Bach, which doesn't necessarily imply that my music sounds like them ;)
