yes, I think the C&T is better also. Much more authentic. The coal tipple at chama still is around and is being restored and the locomotive tenders still say RIO GRANDE unlike silverton, which says the new name. The ride is more spectacular also.
I rode this line back when it was still handling the occassional freight in the spring and fall of the year (that was 1973) and yes, it is so much better than Silverton
