I have just finsished doing a production of annie at my school. I played President Roosevelt and last night I did almost the exact same thing, luckily it was as i was wheeling myself off so all the crowd saw was my feet sticking up in the air around the side of the curtain.

i was annie a few years ago. i was the worst choice any casting director ever made for the role. ever. in history. not that i cant sing. no, not at all! i can sing. the thing is, i dont belt. ever. i cant. my voice cracks. thats why i'm a soprano, and i stick to my head voice at all costs. i should post the video of me as annie to prove my point.
