@BeltDrivenMadness The old Canon cam was a pain in the ass because it needs tapes and uses a lot of energy. I like the newer digital cam because the batteries last a lot longer and there's no big deal in capturing the video from a tape. I can just copy the files from the cam-corder to the computer and start editing them.
@dra999 But this one uses a CMOS sensor. Those are junk. No amount of image stabilization can fix the jellow it emits. I'd get a camera like my JVC, it's simple.
@gomtwo It's one sharp ride. I am impressed that it looks like it just rolled off the shwroom floor. Look at how shiny and relective the paint job is.

Also, how did you get sony vegas? Your camera seems to take good quality image, but it's very unstable. I'd go back to the Canon camera you had.
I could go in greater detail why, but it would take some time to explain...
