Natural gas is in absorbed in sedimentary formations while CBM gas is adsorbed on the coal surface.

Natural gas good quality of burning capacity while its little bit of low quality.

Natural gas can be found until and unless there is a trap to stop its movement while CBM gas can only be found at a depth from 500 metre to 1200 metre beyond that depth it can not exist as temperature would be much higher to remain in its adsorbed form....

@amitalokrm Depends where you are exploring for CBM, finding it at depths of 140 meters or less is not uncommon in Australia.
