Yeah no I'm not insinuating you're cheating as I've actually used the MAV to reach high places. ;) Just wondering what the general consensus on the "technique" is as I see a lot of people doing it.

@mrR33 And I don't take it that way. Best I can tell from the forums, is that there is a lot of complaining about a lot of things that are in essence, irrelevant. Some say one thing, others say another. To me, cheating in this game is using aimbots and hacks, etc. Some sort of modification to the game. Otherwise, I believe it is being creative in the use of the tools provided. As far as the guys who use the MAV to get on the overpass... not a problem that can't be quickly resolved by a recon.

@M4shootah while I rarely do this... I'll have to agree with shootah. the Mav lift is far from hacking or aimbots (cheating) - in this video we were just showing the "creative use of a tool" like the C4 planters. to me it means at least one person has become irrelevant. Sure the sniper might get one or two kills but they can't cap and this game is won by capping those point. If a squad spawns up there - it isn't too long before the other all the cap points are owned by the team.

@M4shootah Exactly, it's like saying that if you put C4 on your jeep and run it into an enemy tank that it's cheating. I don't use the MAV trick (always fall off the damn thing) but you can get to almost all the same places by using the spawn beacon and a parachute, I don't see that as game breaking and cheating.

@mrR33 As soon a guys do take advantage of the MAV lift, they make great exposed targets with no where to go.

@mrR33 we had seen guys on the overpass in Tehran Highway and tried to figured out how that got there. This wasn't easy to do and really was a big waste of time. So we don't do it. As far as cheating... BF is certainly about creativity. There are so many techniques I see used that I hate. Like an engineer repairing a helicopter in flight. That is no more realistic. Is that cheating? These things are not hacks. However, it's up to DICE to decide what it needs to change in their programming.

@olimon2 games are there for us to escape reality, they are there to be fun and bf is heck of a fun game, if we wanted realistic games, go outside and join the army xD

You really need to learn how to read and understand a simple sentence. Not once do I ask for a more realistic game or criticise BF3 in any way. All I said was I don't consider it cheating, you could say for creative reasons if you like and jokingly said it wasn't that realistic. So no I don't want a more realistic game, BF3 is the best game as it is thank you.

@Elijan1996 Dude, you really need to take more time when you read a reply! maybe the sarcastic tone wasn't showing through enough in how I worded it..Put simply tho, I fully agree with you and never said you criticised the game, you clearly love the game (like I do). And like you, I don't think games need to be realistic, that would actually be quite boring imao lol...
