You guys should all watch the subbed version. Surprisingly, it has a different ending. There's only one sentance that was changed when it was dubbed, but that sentance makes the ending known to everyone. It's when Yubaba discoveres that her kid is gone. She tells Haku something along the lines 'only if i get to rip your body to shreds' after they negotiate Cheheros (or however you spell it XD) freedom. This movie is such a lovely tragedy.

Is this the one where she's looking back at her "world/house" on the other side of the ocean with Haku in her "dream?" This movie is so beautiful; it's Miyazaki's best ever. So beautiful but like always, I was never really fond of the ending of the movie. But it's life, the two can never really end up together in the first place anyways. T^T

@johootly Yes he said that but like I said, they can't have each other. It's destiny. She's a human and he's a demon/god. There won't ever be a sequel, the rest is left for the viewers to imagine and conclude it themselves. (:

I dunno, I like how the movie ended, and I think a sequel would ruin the beautiful ending it had. :c It would completely take a way the part of our minds wondering how Haku and Chihiro would meet again.

@WolfdogLover1 If you watched the Subbed version (the original) instead of the Disney one, you would know the true ending- the deal was that Chihiro is set free while Haku is put to death. There is no meeting.

@jonas7jonas Also in the Japanese one, Yubaba must convince her baby that Sen must take this test because of the rules of magic, not because of some deal. She was reluctant in the original. It's never mentioned explicitly, but I'm sure that agreement was magically binding too. If you haven't already, watch it subbed rather than dubbed. much more powerful than Disney's edit.
